*Rare Photos* Heinkel He 111 German Bomber plane from WW2 - Photo Compilation Part 01

The Heinkel He 111 was a German aircraft designed by Siegfried and Walter Günter at Heinkel Flugzeugwerke in 1934. Through development it was described as a "wolf in sheep's clothing"[3] because the project masqueraded the machine as civilian transport, though from conception the Heinkel was intended to provide the nascent Luftwaffe with a fast medium bomber.

They’re a great looking plane still today. Very interesting versions and colors used during the war. Early on they were effective but became obsolete by the end of the war.

Heinkel he 111s were effective German medium bombers during ww2 but vulnerable to allied fighters, many were shot down
