same parts,not same cows... u eat cows that take antibiotics and steroids and growing hormones, living in large compounds all their lives.... Italy it's the most advanced country about food rules, even in EU that it's already better then US about. Here u can choose between imported cows that cost less then half price or meat produced with cows that are regularly checked what they eat,in what conditions they lives, how much they stay out free in open fields, as weel we have good quality alpine cows for making milk and cheese and they have to periodically stay above 1000-1500 meters to eat alpine flora and making a good superior quality of milk and cheese. Here in Italy if u go to supermarket u can choose by price what u prefer to eat, steroids or meat, but for familiar shops that exists from 1800 u can trust me, they have nothing to do with industrial meat, it's artisans work, u pay much and u eat a real cow. Stress in cows make realise toxins from the body of the cows that ruins the taste, if they don't regularly go out in free open fields they have Much Weight But Lesser Muscular Fibers And In A Bad Conditions Of Tissues, all that make the taste and the quality and the quality of the food. And, no, we do not use artificial flavors for making food here ahahahhahahahah The Big Mac is a piece steroids and carton with full of chemicals flavors inside,made in thousands of pieces by machines with cows that are in Guantanamo............... U can find bones, nerves, eyes and everything inside, they literally use the entire cow..... We too use the entire cow but for making hundred of different pieces with different flavors,consistencies and price. U need skills, abilities and knowledge already for cutting this pieces, after they need to be prepared and cooked and it's another history XD We Italian we are not a meme, we have culture, knowledge and traditions, we are artisans and we know what we buy and what we eat. U can go back to finish your domino's "pizza" in Detroit. XD Come to Napoli or the rest of Italy to take a pizza and I promise that it's thousands of time better, only with fresh and seasonal ingredients, no freezing bullsh*ts and dead ingredients with half taste and zero nutrients after a year in the fridge XD

I'm impressed with Martina's English skills, her knowledge and obvious passion for Italian food and history. She should open her own KZread channel. I'd follow it.

I don't wanna sound like a pain the ass but in Italy we are quite able to speak English (or at least we try our best). The majority of the Italians are also able to speak more than just one language, like English and French or English and Spanish or even English, French, Spanish and something else as well. When it comes to pronounce a particular English word we might have some difficulties (like the word H: we don't use it in our language so we tend to ignore its pronunciation) but we always try to communicate in the best way we can. Also keep in mind we start to learn English in primary school (at least that's what I did when I was a kid..and I'm 34 y.o. now) and the majority of us spends (or has spent) few weeks in the UK or in the US during summer just because we want (we wanted) to learn English. I still remember when I was 8-9 years old all my friends going camping on the beach and I was the only one who was obliged by his mother to go to Cambridge and learn a new language.. I used to hate my mother and I used to cry a lot because I just wanted to have fun during those years.. but now I'm so thankful as I'm able to speak 3 languages and I'm working as a flight attendant traveling the word almost everyday. Anyway, you'll be more than welcome to visit our beautiful country. Ciao Wedi!

Most of the tour guides I met when I was in Italy were very knowledgeable because they have to be in order to get their license and they were all very good with their English. All reminded me of Mario from the Mario's Brothers game, LOL.

It's not so much that she's insulting Italian culture but frugality and the crafty use of an edible part of an animal. It's a real shame to throw out a edible part of the animal just because its less tasty than other portions of it. Her criticism makes her appear spoiled and child-like.

Yeah liverpaté is great. Practically live on the stuff. Pork liver (about 1/3 of it is liver), the rest is pork meat, bacon (about 10%) and pork fat. Love it. 😋

I think the message should be that more people should eat meat and parts of the animal that are not "normal". It's a question of respect for the animal to use everything and not just the fancy and easy to eat parts. The funny thing is, most of the unusual parts even taste good if prepared properly. The blonde woman was so shocked about what you're going to eat, i think thats wrong, it should be more normal.

Often in Italy we eat unusual part of animals. It borns from necessity to eat each part because state of poverty of farmers during the past centuries. Best part of animals were destined for nobles and the upper class. However they developed a method of preparation to give these food a special dignity that makes them delicious today. Seeing Is believing

Cows have a four chambered stomach . Only one stomach , but four compartments. Just because I know this does not mean that I have , or will ever taste it . We have a cattle ranch , is my knowledge source , and my granddaughter did a talk for a contest in 4-H last year ! "Why would people eat that" - I grew up in the UK eating tripe & onions - Cooked in milk sauce and served with mashed potato, I still miss it now many years later. Also, cow tongue, sheep hearts all wonderful.

I'm sure the ww2 food did actually suck lol but since then its just improved and keeps improving. The unseasoned dishes that stuck it out are maybe for traditions sake

The last time I visited the UK one of my friends brought some cows stomach round for us all to eat. They call it tripe, you eat it cold with loads of vinegar and tomato, it really doesn't taste of anything at all. He also cooked a horseshoe black pudding, it is dried pigs blood with spices. That was really very nice with salt, vinegar and English mustard.
