Leave a comment if there is a particular produce you would like to try (A Cheese Type, Milk, Raw Whey or Yoghurt etc.) Remember the globules of fat in the Kerry's Milk are smaller than other milk types which make it easier to Digest.
These Cattle & Goat are part of our Heritage and Culture and they need to be saved. Artisan dairy produce from the animals can highlight their cause; word of mouth can raise awareness. Collectively The Kerry, The Moiled, The Droimeann and The Old Irish Goat are rarer than the Giant Panda; we need to highlight their cause. Saint Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland Hopefully this Saint Patricks Day he can save these Breeds.

I was supposed to go to the farm in Roscommon but we ran out of time. Good excuse to come back to Ireland, which we adored ;)

I am setting up for a farm in America but love my heritage. I def am looking into the Irish breeds as first choice. I love the Dexter but the Irish Moiled are def one of a kind. Thank you for this. Almost fell asleep though l, my Grandfather would play songs at bed time for us. He came from Ireland with his family during the famine. Had 13 children after he met and married my grandmother. His name was Bill Armour. :)

I am looking to get some Old Irish Goats. Do you know of anyone who may have some?....or can catch two or three wild ones :) I have contacted the Old Irish Goat Society but they are not interested in letting any go at the moment.

Lovely! I'd definitely like to buy produce which would help these breeds survive. Btw, do you have any information on Cladagh sheep? It's believed that the last ones died out in the 1970s on the Aran Islands, but it's possible that there may still be a few around.

I believe they have some in a paddock close to Westport house, Co. Mayo. I was there a few months ago and they had some there I believe. They smell awful but really cool nonetheless.
