I think this tool didnt use for a long time ago ,fortunately i didnt find any geometric serious damage or broken functunal part in side ,it was just rusty . of course that's take much time of work but the result was satisfying if im right

These were really popular popular in the 60s, both my father and grandfather had one though Dad's had a plastic handle to keep the bits in. Nice restoration.

Ich habe auch einen....original ist an dem verzahnten Drehstück Fett. Probiere das mal, er wird sofort viel leiser sein und sich besser handhaben lassen :-)
I think you can also use it to drill small holes as well, I know there’s an old tool called a Push Drill which is almost identical to this one. Such a cool tool, nice job 👍🏼

yes yes you can ..y just need a special reduced shank twist drill bit or y have to made one by adjusting the regular shank twist .

Found one on secondhand market, do you know which drill chucks i can use with this tool? Is it a standart Hex system? Greetings from Germany.

Is not .You can adjust one of the hex shank keyless drill chuck ..
