It blows my mind how knowledgeable he is. Every type of metal needs a different oil or sand or grain etc. Every material needs to be managed differently. It means every video will pretty much always be different because it has to combine so many different treatments And then on top of this, add all the individual customisations, and manual creations. .. It's incredible

Now we can add gun smith to your list of abilities Martin. When I was with the sheriff's office in SW Florida I was also a state of Florida and NRA certified firearms instructor and range officer. However, I was not a gun smith, but could trouble shoot other deputies problems they had with their pistols and shotguns. A good friend who was also a firearms' instructor together we purchased a 5 stage reloading machine, tumbler for cleaning brass, weight scales, etc the two of us spent many hours making reloads to use at the range by ourselves or a few other instructors improving our firearms proficiency. This restoration brings back many fond memories to be sure Martin. I hope you and yours are healthy and safe, I'm toasting you with a Newcastle Brown Ale. Cheers from this old retired coot living the dream in Tennessee.

Nice video. Great how you gave the pistol a new life! I know the "spring bolts" and "diabolos" (ammunition for air rifles and air pistols), used to shoot often with my parents and grandparents. Mostly with an air rifle (break-barrel), then we also had an air rifle with a side cock and an air pistol, similar to yours just not as old. 🤣
