That was amazing.... That's "MY DREAM TRUCK"! I could not believe what I just saw you accomplish. My dad and I went fishing in that same truck my whole childhood, not with that size engine of course... "You have no idea what I would give to have that moment in time once more"! THANK YOU! Not many videos hit home like this one did ❤️! 👍👍👍
Leaving the hood open is an invitation to stuck engines. You and your dad have the best rescue channel because you do finish what you start and do it the right way. Wishing a great 2024 to you, your families and everyone here.

That is the coolest old ford truck ever!! Those old ford motors are tough. Please do more with that beauty!!! thanks!!!
I surprised myself when I realized how good I was feeling when I saw that truck going across the yard on it's own power! That truck suddenly looked almost showroom! It's like a pony getting out of the barn for the first time in years! The truck looked happy!
It's amazing. With a little TLC this truck could have been kept on the road, but left for dead. It's fascinating how you and your Dad got this going again. Nice save.
Thanks for making my day. I had a 64 F100, with a 240. Back in the 80’s, I decided to soften the ride and took out two leafs in the front and two in the back. The pair of arches lowered it about 4”. Living in Mississippi, people gave me some crap about my low rider. It rode great and to this day, my favorite vehicle. No ac, power anything or a radio. My dad helped me work on it.
This unibody F100 is fairly rare nowadays. All this truck needs are a new fuel tank, brakes, cleanup of the interior and the engine bay, a new exhaust and that's a good start to restore to this truck. Maybe in the future, a model correct tailgate, maybe an engine overhaul and if you like, a full repaint might be a phase 2 for the restoration. In any case, nice start! Happy Holidays to you and your family man!
Great job y’all! Can’t wait to see it cleaned up
Just cam across your vid. Am an old mechanic myself. But in 1983 i grabbed ahold of 8000 thousand volts of electricity. Lost both my hands. Am a really outgoing dude. Enjoy watching your vid. Really like th overhead view of th carb rebuild. Like seeing yal saving an old vehicle. Keep up the great work.
I like old trucks, sad that some one would abandone this one in the woods good job rescuing it ! 😀👍
You guys have a lot of courage, one look at that truck in the woods and I would have run away as fast as I could. You guys saved another vehicle from a sure death!
What a cool little truck! And I love a 351w. Please fix this one up!
You cant kill them old Fords. Loved the episode, hope you guys do something with that old girl, she needs some love
Love these old F100's unibody trucks! They are just the perfect size for any homeowner and part-time tow use. Next episode should be very interesting. I'm Michael and Dad won't disappoint!
That old Ford is gonna be a beast! That 351 sounds great looks like a positive traction rear too!
I'm NOT a mechanic, and I'm NOT a automotive restorer, and I will admit I am rather mechanically illiterate overall, but I am a huge FORD fan! ❤ I have heard it said, that the 302-V8s and the 351-V8s were two of Ford's best engines ever. Curious if you concur. Merry Christmas guys! 🌲
You are braver than most other YT channels and not just on the projects you take on. Wearing shorts into a tick infested woods probably requires a warning label on the content! Unibodies are the "bubble tops" of the F-100 world and need to be saved.

I am so glad to see that radiator out!!!
Great job on the old Ford truck. Really enjoying all your videos. Definitely two thumbs up plus loads of real genuine fun!!
Glad you rescued this one when did before vandals destroyed it......Seriously how much in scrap metal is half a radiator worth. Keep up the good work
Man, im always so impressed with how you can get these old machines running. It's amazing really!
I had a 65 short bed ford pickup! Her name was Blossom. I loved that truck! ❤ i had a 64 ford futura 2 door Falcon. Her name was Alice! ❤ My brother had a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang 351 Cleveland. He would let me barrow it on the weekends sometime. I would always clean it out, wash it Detail it & bring it home with full tank of gas. That way I got to barrow it a lot. That wss a really fast & fun car! ❤
Ford F100 is the best Truck and was never die…i love best old cars ❤
I go through that much anti-sieze about every 10 yrs, but I live in the super salty North, so I put it on everything, liberally. Had to remove the bumper on my truck this year. Was expecting a fight, but forgot I had taken it off a few years ago and so it was coppered up. Came right apart. Best stuff ever.

Brill !! Really like seeing these great old vehicles being rescued and bought back to life. Looking forward to the next installment. See ya next year 👍
Cant beat a good ole ford, sounds great. Merry Christmas yall.
Would love to see you get that truck roadworthy again! Great episode.
New sub! I like your style and personalities! I try out new channels regularly, and it comes down to the charm, wit, and ability to SPEAK FLUENTLY and ENTERTAIN, that makes all the difference. Some guys mumble, some talk too slow or say "uh" too much. Some got all the personality and charisma of a garden slug. But not you!

Hello! Thanks for the Vid we are enjoying! Suggestion: instead of WD40 we recommend ATF with Acetone 50/50 blend in the plug holes as well as down the carb throat. WD40 isn’t a penetrant and it’s designed to displace water. You may get better results with the ATF/Acetone combo. Just a suggestion ❤
@MaxGiganteum

I second the motion... WD-40 is for shite! There are vastly better penetrants and lubricants on the market. Best wishes! - Max Giganteum
I am impressed! Of all the channels I watch, you all were the only ones smart enough to clean the carb and most importantly CHOKED IT! I get so frustrated watching the other guys try and try to start old worn out, cold engines with no choke.. thanks!
Great truck. Love it. Glad to see it brought back to life
I have no idea how you found this one, but wow what a great find! Would’ve loved to have seen more of the abandoned cabin, is it for rent? 😂 Looking forward to what y’all got in store for this ol’ gal, I think it would be worth doing a full restoration, body work, paint and all! Congratulations on a great job getting her running! 💛
Merry Christmas. I own a 1961 uni-body that my dad owned. I hope to get it back together before old age, the better of me. Love the old Car's and truck's . Hate all the new junk that costs what a mansion did a few years ago. All the best from Upper east Tennessee.
When that first fired up i thought "Uhoh" but it ended up sounding sweet as a nut. Can't knock an old Ford :) All the best for 2024 from across the pond!
Nice video and nice save of a cool old truck.
That’s seams amazing how good it runs after sitting in the bush for that long Top work Michael and dad 😍😍👍👍🇦🇺
Yes the cover in the distributor is OEM
I think this resto will get more views than the 911. Can't wait!!!
Great sounding old 351W engine.
She's a really solid looking ol girl!! I can't wait to see what's next!
Great job. One of the best videos you have made. You did the right thing changing the oil before you even tried to start it. You can't run them with the oil pan full of sludge and rust particles and then be surprised when they start knocking on your first drive like Mortske does.

-- Excellent observation... my criticism with the drivetrain would be that he didn't drop the pan on the automatic transmission. While the fluid was so low that it wouldn't engage (or barely started to after the motor fired up), it's not uncommon to find water has condensed inside the case. This obviously is bad. Dropping the pan not only eliminates having any water in the system, it gives you a chance to see what's in the bottom of the pan which gives you a good idea as to the condition of the transmission itself. The idea is that it's better to be safe than sorry and end up with a pink milkshake for fluid and a non-functional transmission. I would also having pulled both valve covers by default to look for debris and to examine the rockers. It's just a smart thing to do when dealing with a vehicle such as this truck that sat around for a lengthy period of time in less-than-ideal conditions. Best wishes! - Max Giganteum
That brings back memories My Dad used to have one like that God bless and stay safe
Excellent episode boys. I sure loved to hear that V8 engine run so good, and it's real nice to see that pickup out of the woods. If the truck could talk it would thank you for living again ! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your dad ! Steve from Montreal, Canada.
Good job. Great patina. I would give it a fresh paint job.
I love the fun you and your Dad have together, it’s so refreshing and genuine to see and hear. Much love from England
That's awesome I love old trucks and they're being restored and brought back to life they don't make them like they used to the older trucks are the best
Man thats sounds so good. Cant wait to you get brakes on it and hit the highway! Merry Christmas from New Zealand
I love watching you and your dad do these cars. You are awesome genuine people
I love how you guys just get after it and do what’s required to guarantee a reliable vehicle. No messing around doing the bare minimum, repeating unnecessary steps.
Let’s see you guys do a budget home job on this baby, it’s a good looking truck
A very cool truck !! It looked like the glass is still good as well, that would be really rare ! Hope to see more of this for sure, that truck still has miles of smiles to give !!
Way to go GUYS !!!! It's a Blast watching you two rescue and revive these vintage vehicles !!! Keep up the fun work and HAPPY NEW YEAR To YOU AND YOUR FAMALYS !!!
those unibodies are such cool trucks..........combined with a dandy v8! awesome find!
Cool body style, great patina. Amazing revival of an incredible survivor. Thank you.
First Vehicle I remember my parents having as a kid was a ford F100 3 on the tree. Merry Christmas
Very Merry Christmas to you and your family 🎁. Thank you for great content and family channel
Earned a new subscriber! I had a 63 that I was forced to give away, way back when. Loved that old truck. Flat head with three on the tree.
Love your dad! Seems like the coolest father. Your enthusiasm is contagious. Love your content.

Brotha, oh wow that's awesome. Just freaking ❤ them ol ford's. Want one like that so badly. Thank yall so so much for saving it. Bless yall 💯
Merry Christmas and all the happiness in everything you do. This was a great revival and can wait for the future installments.
Yes sir. The Christmas time of the year. Everything need to the Christmas Present.
Another very nice rescue, a new exhaust and brakes and he's back on the road. Encore une beau sauvetage, un nouvel échappement et des freins il est prêt pour la route, c'est un coureur comme vous dites aux USA. It's a runner as you say in the USA
Can’t wait to see what you have in store for this old truck!
351 was my favorite Ford engine!
Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁 Let’s get it going!
They only made unibodies from 61 to 63 and not in big numbers, about 10,000 in 61. This truck is definitely worth saving one way or another.
That ol truck deserves some more air time
That was a great save. Merry Christmas everyone!
WOW! Absolutely amazing. Again you and your dad do wonders for these abandon vehicles. Great to see that classic ford running again!
It’s deserve a full restoration and a full repaint smart little truck. Very cool love the show Richard from England
Decent nice people making great things for us to watch. Thanks guys. Love your sense of fun.
great video don't see many of those older fords running around anymore thanks for sharing
Nice work! She wasn't ready for the scrapyard in the sky yet! Still a lot of life left in the old girl.
What a cool old truck, can't wait to see what you and Dad do with this one!!
This was one of my favorites!! Awesome looking and runs great!!!
Great truck! Bless you for saving it.
AMAZING! Can’t believe that engine sounds so good! Great content guys! Thanks!!
What a FIND!!! Look forward to THE CLEANING!!! Happy New Year!
Just catching up on this Restore job. When I was a kid, I had a 302 in mercury cougar, and I was researching how to give it some more power and I understand you can put 351W heads on them but you need special bolts to do it with. Love for you to see if you to do that on something. 😁
That was a great reviled rescue can't wait to see what's next for it have a Merry Christmas you and your family
Fantastic..great rescue..Long live the oldies..look forward to the next adventure..Happy New Year..Steve in Australia.
Cool truck hope you show us the clean up inside and out and see what she looks like. Good job guys . Thank you
What a cool old truck! Really looking forward to its journey!! Keep it rolling.

Great find! Very desirable truck! Great Patina. That truck would look great with the right set of tires and rims.
Cool truck, great teamwork getting it done , thanks for sharing 👍💨💨
Merry Christmas to you both, Great find , great video , great content. Love it Be well
We have no old cars in the forest here in Malibu but every once in a while a brush fire will come thru and we will find a car and sometimes missing dead people who drove over a cliff that no one knew about. Good luck ,I can`t wait to see what happens next.
Ok, I am really impressed. The way that engine looked, well, I never thought this one would run. I know that this one is going to be a fun build. Thanks for sharing this.
Dad chuckling has to be the highlight, neat little ripper coming in hot lol
Enjoyed this video I love to see old machines be saved thank you.
That old jagged edged radiator frame had me praying please don't slip trying to turn that crank bolt, don't let loose. Impaling one's self on old rusted out steel not good, safety important please. I really enjoy this KZread channel, Thanks 4 sharing. Merry Christmas to you all.
I'm curious to see what you have planned for this truck ! It has lots of possibilities !!!!!
I'm thrilled again, it was great. Very good entertainment, funny, interesting... great. Greetings from Germany
That was fantastic, you were tearing it up!! have a great Christmas, look forward to the next one
Awesome video, man! What an old sweetheart of a truck! Would love to see the cab get vacuumed out, a pressure wash, and get the brakes working. Then it would be a sweet ride.
I’d say this thing is a perfect candidate for a comet wash inside and out and some poppy’s patina!!! Preserve that look!
