A rare video and guard change where the Royal Air Force College march back to barracks with the old guard kings colour squadron. The St James’ Palace Detachment is also the Kings Colour Squadron with the Band of the Royal Air Force Central Band.

That drum major is amazing !! Wow !! And the band as well of course!! Superb!!

Fantastic video!!!! The Band sounded brilliant as they always do! The marches played were, 1) 0:30-Arromanches 2) 2:32-Old Comrades (Alte Kameraden) 3) 4:25-Aces High (Luftwaffe March)
I’m just not sure that the RAF Band should be playing the Luftwaffe March from the Battle of Britain movie. Especially when the context of the March in the movie is Herman Goering being driven around inspecting bombers that’s purpose was to flatten London and cower Britain into submission.
Still maintain the RAF band and Regiment far superior than the guards bands.
