Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

For long term offenders, there is rarely a chance to make up for the wrongs they have done in the past. For this inmate, the new dog training program in the prison has given him new purpose, and will give a trained dog to someone in need.

These types of programs should be federally funded- it's that important on so many levels. ❤ Bless you all

It is about time that the prisons in this country start to get the inmates involved in turning their lives around, and by getting the dogs ready to become search and rescue animals the dogs and the inmates have second chances in life. Other countries think that the inmates in their prisons should learn skills so that when they're released, they'll become better citizens.

This program is nearly 30 years old. There's one for horses and cats too, at other penitentiarys.

Too bad some folks think all convicts are the same and deserve no rights or privileges

This is such a great program, it gives second chances to both the dogs & the inmate. They both blossom.

Dar's sense of smell is ten times or more better than people's sense of smell. Animals senses are heightened better than ours, and I would definitely trust them over most people.

This is a terrific program giving a dog, prisoners, and people needing a therapy dog a second chance. I truly despise so-called owners who abuse, their pets. Why do they even attempt to buy an innocent animal. More prisons need these programs. However I have seen prisons around the country have both men, women in prisons train much needed dogs for theapy dogs. Yeah DAR , Firedog beautiful German Shepherd Yeah Jack and the Flying Dogs. Glad Bill adopted him. Bad that Vet used Jack for blood transfusions then when it was over he wanted to put him down..grrrr

hydrocarbon can damage the lungs of dogs ! they should not train the dogs to do that, suffering and shortening life spans of dogs
