Rare!: 1950 Twyfords 'Vespa' Washdown Pan w/ Matching High Level 'Vitromant' Cistern

This is the other cubicle, next to the mid 60's Armitage Ware 'Magnia'' with the same cistern.
Brilliant to see the original pan with this one, albeit highly crazed. Twyfords 'Vitromant' ware suffered badly from this, although it's odd that the cisterns don't even have a speck of crazing in comparison. The №1273 2gal cistern provides a good flush in spite of the combined overflow/inlet pipe, and this one has its original syphon, a bit stiff but starts quite well with a firm pull. This also has a part 1 ballcock but quite a slow monotone refill, so I didn't film all of it.
I love the 'Vespa' pan, although just wish it wasn't so crazed. The 'Vespa' and 'Civic' of this time were almost identical, except that the 'Civic' had a flat inlet area suitable for Twyfords plate inlet, and the 'Vespa' has a protruding horn suitable for the traditional type cone inlet fittings.
