Steve Debus is an adjunct (honorary research associate) in zoology at the University of New England Armidale. He works mainly for Northern Tablelands Local Land Services to survey and monitor threatened raptors. Steve has a life-long interest in raptors, and has studied about half the two dozen Australian species in the field. He’s written two raptor field guides and two books summarising the biology of eagles, falcons and some others.
