Fun Fact: Eminem interpolated "Abracadabra" on his 2024 hit "Houdini," incorporating the magic theme and the hook. Miller, who wasn't happy when The Geto Boys sampled his song "The Joker" in 1989, was happy to license "Abracadabra" to Eminem, calling the rapper "one of those timeless originators."

It was the roller rink for me, too. I went there a lot more than the bowling alley way back when. The roller rink jammed the music.

Good choice right there. Another from the same album is The Window. Those two songs are some of his best work in my opinion.

You need to do “Rock’n Me” to complete the sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll… although it’s pretty much sex too.

Sounds like the next Steve Miller you're looking for might be his single 'Rock Love'. Not one of his biggest hits, but it's a nice little uptempo rocker about Rock&Roll.

Steve Miller did a lot of cool stuff from Living in the USA to Space Cowboy to Take the Money and Run. If you want to hear him being really trippy listen to Fly Like an Eagle live from the Midnight Special. That is really cool.

Worst Steve Miller song. But people liked it. However, it was the early 80s and people liked a lot of weird stuff. His 70s stuff is way better.
