Im not sure but , I think he was referring to the lead guitarist Max Georgiev, Derek was Rhythm , R.I.P

The guitarist Derek Jones passed away in April sadly.

Ronnie Radke and Max Green created a band straight outta Highschool called Escape the Fate, they won a contest to open for My Chemical Romance, and was signed to Epitaph Records, Ronnie and Max became addicted to Heroin and Alcohol and Opiates, A fight in the dessert of Las Vegas led to Ronnie being arrested for assult with intent, he wasn't allowed to tour with his band They kicked him out and he missed several appointments with his probation officer, He was re-arrested and sentenced to 2-5yrs in Navada High State prison. He served part of his sentence in gen pop and then served over a year in isolation. Once released he formed a new band called Falling in Reverse, Ronnie is the only name on the contract with Epitaph who NEVER left him. Ronnie writes the lyrics and music and plays most of the instruments,he also mixes and produces his music with another guy. He hires a touring band to play the songs live!

Yes Ronnie play most instruments , but he is not the one playing all instruments on the recordings ( i bet he would tell U hes not that good haha ) He hires musicians but some off them are on and off for years , ( Christian / Tyler etc ) and not only in concerts , but also on their albums /releases ! FIR was formed while he was incarserrated , the band first name was at" Behind theese walls " , but due to copyright , they changed it to FIR ! Derek ( original member untill he sadly passed away in 2020 ) Picked him up from jail , with jacky when he was released !

Falling in Reverse’ latest single, “popular monster” has actually been at the top of the rock charts, ahead of big bands like Disturbed and Slipknot and Five Finger Death Punch, for about a year now, and it actually just became gold certified. It took like 20 years but our boy broke into the mainstream

To answer some things you brought up: Yes, you have the name idea right. "Falling In Reverse" alludes to picking yourself back up, Ronnie has specifically talked about it on his livestream. He created the band while he was still in prison. His music videos are all him. The way he put it is that they basically give him a budget and tell him to do whatever he wants because he's proven his artistic talent and that it gets good results. Ronnie has a really interesting story that is worth looking into. I also highly recommend checking out his Twitch livestream, he interacts heavily with his fans and frequently watches reaction videos to his music (like this one!). He also says some really inspirational stuff.

Ronnie was in the band Escape the Fate, several yrs back... got in some trouble, did some time in prison, which during that time, the band replaced him w a new singer! I think he did 2 n a half yrs, but got out, got new band together, the rest is history... FIR been together over 10 yrs, and Ronnie has grown tremendously as a singer over the yrs... plus, they're fixing to b releasing a new song very soon, can't wait!

Nahhh he doesnt play all the insrtuments on the albums , his musicians do !!! And his musicians arent "just Hired " some off them have been on and off with Ronnie for years , cause they are good at what they do ! He aint totally in charge off the directing all by himself either on the videos , he totally come up with the ideas , But seriously U dont hire / and pay a lot off money to Jensen Noen just for him to be ur servant lol ! Jensen is first off all a terrific filmmaker and know what hes doing , Hes has done a lot off INKs videos and other bands too

It's not the year he was supposed to get released, he violated his probation, you don't get like 20 years for that. I think he said this year was in his dmt trip but I'm not sure so check it somewhere else

I personally think that the metal communities"fuck the music industry" mentality is our biggest weakness. Sure we have amazing bands signed to big labels, but they are not putting these bands out in front of the public. People think metal is dying out because they don't get the attention hip-hop gets. Yet metal concerts can sell out arenas with thousands of people in the crowd. The fans are there, but metal bands just don't get the exposure they use to get to help grow their fan base.
