Dimash has amazing MVs, "The Story Of One Sky" is a masterpiece. Dimash's parents are singers and they discovered his talent at a very young age. Dimash has been studying music and vocals since he was 5. He still studying, now working on his PhD in Musicology. But interestingly, singing it's not his only talent. He's composing, playing instruments, acting, modeling, directing and even not bad in martial arts.

I flew 11 hours during one of the big pandemic waves in Russia to attend this concert. When he sang this song, I remember thinking that it would have been worth the trip just for this one song.

Dimash Is just in a category by himself. Both his parents are highly musical and helped train not only the best singer but if there was an award for Best Human, I honestly believe Dimash would get the most votes. Oh yes, Dimash did, and does spend all his time on music. He said in some interviews that if you open my heart, you’ll find music in it, and if you open my brain you’ll find only music too. Since he was a child, all he wanted was to become a singer. Instead of playing with little cars, he’d play with cassette tapes and stack them into a stage… His parents were singers, his grandma started taking him to take music lessons daily from age 5. He is trained both classically and in contemporary music, and is now working on his PhD in musicology.

Dimash is from Kazakhstan in Central Asia, formerly part of the USSR. Now and independent republic.
