I love how Malcolm Young (rhythm guitar) and Cliff Williams (bass) step up to do backup vocals, and then back themselves up next to the drummer when they're not singing. It's like clockwork, and so visually appealing. I saw them live once and they did that for every song. Those 2 just hang out by the drummer all show and bob their heads the whole time.

Angus and Malcolm Young are from Scotland they moved to Australia when they were in their teens. They got the name ACDC when Malcolm was using his sister's sewing machine and he saw AC/DC on the back of it. At least that's what Angus said in the documentary Let There be Rock.

The quality of the band is shown in how they managed the transition from the amazing "Highway to Hell" album with Bon Scott (RIP), to then release the magnificent "Back in Black" with Brian Johnson. Not a dud track on both albums.

You cannot go wrong with ACDC. I know I'm in the minority but as amazing as Brian Johnson is, I prefer early ACDC with Bon Scott. When you guys get a chance, you've got to check out their song Let There Be Rock. It's one of their best from the early albums.

Bon Scott actually introduced Brian to the band before he died, bon Scott died in January and by July Brian was in the band and the best selling rock album of all time BACK IN BLACK was released, you shook me all night long was track 7 on the 10 track album, mutt Lang produced the previous album HIGHWAY TO HELL returned for BACK IN BLACK there is a reason it's the greatest selling rock album of all time.

Bon met Brian when he was touring Britain in his old band in the early 70s. . Later on he told them if anything ever happened to him to look him up after a performance he watched not knowing that Brian's frenzied performance was due to a bout with appendicitis . Brian got the call for a audition not knowing who the band was before getting there.

Alternating current/direct current is correct. The “AC/DC” abbreviation was in the electrical plate of their sister’s sewing machine. The Angus footwork is Chuck Berry’s duck walk. Lol, you can’t argue the lyric, it’s written in the name of the song.

The reason this song was such a huge crossover hit was that the lyric was 'YOU Shook ME...' rather than 'I Shook YOU...' So women could hear this song and think that they were the hottest b**ch ever born. If it was the other way around and was about some dude bragging about how studly he was nobody would have ever given it the time of day. AC/DC masterfully appealed to the female market with this song, and it payed off immensely.

Ya that Bon. Always writing about real things that happened to him or somebody he knew. That was his writing style, unlike Brian Johnson's before he joined the boys. That's why if you listen to BiB the words fit so perfect to where they were at at the time of Bon's death. And that was writing songs/lyrics for their next album.

I've always thought Bon Scott wrote most every song's lyrics on Back in Black(including this one), so why was he never credited for this? I recently read a book pretty much confirming this too. If so why give the writing credit to Brian? I think people screwed him and his family big time before and after he passed. The giveaway that Bon wrote this song? Bon Scott was married his entire time with ac/dc to a lady in australia but he had three lovers in his lifetime and all of them lived here in America. Brian Johnson on the otherhand had never set foot in America before he was a member of ac/dc. This particular gf that the song is about was a model from a respectably wealthy family who had beautiful long legs(American thighs). She also played hard to get with him(..told me to come, but I was already there) and had a horse named DoubleTime(working double time). Also all of Bon's writing is about real life things. Happenings to him personally. Where BJ admits his writing style is not like that of Scott's?! The music to SMANL I give to Malcom and Angus. But no way I believe Brian Johnson wrote those lyrics
