I made this Quick cut of Rapidan Dam after it failed.
I went there the night prior trying to get some video of the river and the dam after all the rain. unfortunately, there were only a couple minutes where the rain stopped enough for me to fly, so I didn't get much before footage. but I figured I would just come back the next day and get some footage then. Well, that night, the logs that you can see jammed under the bridge up river broke loose and slowed the flow through the dam itself, causing the water level to rise and flow over the West side of the dam, causing the failure.
