*Nahari was invented in Awadh...to feed the workers in "Nahar" (Morning in Persian) who were involved in the construction of Bada Imambara during the time of Nawab Asaf-Ud-Daula Bahadur...Than it travelled towards Nawabeen of Awadh and than to Delhi and from Delhi to Karachi after Partition of Hindustan with the people who migrated to Karachi from Delhi...*

Dhokebaaz, waise I am almost equal parts, Lucknow, Allahabad, Delhi and Ujjain. And I can say, for sure, Lucknow has no equal when it comes to food. The only places, which I can say stand a chance against Lucknow are Hyderabad and Benaras (in their own different ways) of course I haven’t visited every place in India.

As another Lakhnavi I'd say nihari of Lucknow and Delhi are just two very different dishes. They don't taste the same and have their own charm. One with the flaky kulchas and the other with the khamiri roti.

Matlab mujhe idea ni tha, ki Butter Chicken aur Dal makhani, do aisi dishes jo poore India me itni jyada famous h. Butter chicken to poori duniya me, chicken tikka masala naam se indian dish me sabse jyada popular h, ye dono dish isi restaurant ne invent ki thi. In case c-3PO could understand touch and texture ,it would not recommend a kathi roll. Kathi roll has no chance in front of sheer velvetiness of Nihari.
Episode was really very good. Food looks delicious 🤤 But so much use of English language. Normal people could not understand.
Man Kunal had so much foodgasm in this that it has to be the best decision to put in this mix. A fun watch. You could see his eyes falling off his specs while listening to Ranveer.
