Guizhong x Zhongli gotta be my favourite.Their entire story is poetic as hell.For those who don't really read the lore that much i can tell you about their story.🙂 Guizhong and Zhongli ruled a nation together and they named it "Guili Assembly" after themselves.During the Archon War one Guizhong would light Lanterns to show him the way back home.But sadly one night another God has invaded their nation and had fatally wounded Guizhong before Zhongli could save her.She bled to death in his arms in the same field of Glaze Lilies they met centuries ago.She gave him her stone dumbbell and said that "Our journey has come to an end".He promised her that he would protect their people from the dangers of this world.After establishing Liyue Harbor he decided that the only way to truly protect his people was through boundless slaughter as he officially joined the Archon War.Even after 3700 year he still keeps her stone dumbbell with him all the time. The story is kinda sad tho 😢.It's written like they were meant to be together but fate didn't allow it to happen.

Tbh I kinda always thought they had feelings for each other and Zhongli was too nervous to tell Guizhong how he felt but then right when he was coming around to wanting to tell her, disaster struck and she died. Now, Genshin kinda sidetracked the random from this ship with the streetward rambler storyline but overall I feel like Ping and Guizhong just being good friends rolls better with me

Man I know it’s sad and regretful but something about the lore struck me to some weird humor. This type of lore happens a lot in this type of game, which is war based. So we have a meme is that never say “when I/you came back I want to blah(do anything, like go on vocation) with you”. Other wise you just made an indicated flag of never coming back, died in the war.

Ok so, Albedo and Huffman is my OTP. It's kinda a crack ship ngl but I love it. In Albedo's voice lines about himself, he talks about how he can spend half a day sketching Huffman but needs just three strokes to draw Kaeya 😭. Also, Huffman is the older brother of our upcoming playable character Mika, so I hope we will get more content. For now I'm enjoying the 7 and half fanarts and fanfics we have:,)

LEspecially with the theories of Alhaitham being a reincarnation of The Scarlet King and Cyno being a reincarnation of the priest of the scarlet king. And them hating each other when the theory is they used to be best friends or lovers in their past lives.

@@MANEKOMI I mean I’m speaking on interpretations, and none of the ships are canon so like I don’t exactly look to canon to validate ships. Which a ship being canon doesn’t make it better than other ships anyway. But my point is, Cyno helped Collei when she was younger. And Tignari helps her now and makes sure she’s in good health. They have dinners together even if it’s not parental it’s still kinda domestic in my eyes. Also, it doesn’t really matter if she’s an adult cause even when you’re an adult your parents will still be your parents. I understand what your saying but I’m just gonna have fun and continue on with my own headcanons.

@@MANEKOMI well I don’t hate any ships unless they’re like actually illegal or like toxic. And I’m sorry you feel bad for those characters but I don’t treat them that way. And yes they are not her partners but parental figures are a thing or it could even be viewed as a siblings dynamic. And even though I view them as a family relationship doesn’t mean you have to. You’re free to ship as you please. I’ll share a ship I have for Collei, I ship her with Amber. But I could also view their relationship as a sisterhood. I’m a multishipper so it doesn’t bother me. And I did want to add, for me Collei didn’t have a good childhood and she lost her parents so when I think about her in a family dynamic with Tignari and Cyno it’s also in a way to give her the family she didn’t have growing up. It’s just some platonic domestic feels for a character that didn’t get that.

Xiao x Traveler is definitely PEAK!!! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH! This might be partly why I’m a teeny tiny bit not as supportive of xiaoven as others because I love Xiao and the traveler way too much to be sane

actually Xingqiu x Yunjin isn't just "two elegant people from prestigious family" In Xingqiu’s voice line about Yun Jin, it is said that he keeps tea leaves under his bed at all times so she will never run out of ideas. In Yun Jin’s voice line about Opera Troupes, she mentions there is an opening for a skilled sword fighter, which Xingqiu happens to be. This leaves room to imagine them Xingqiu playing a romantic interest role with Yun Jin. Xingqiu loves to write stories, and Yun Jin loves to act them out. Yun Jin, in her voice line about Xingqiu, says she thinks Xingqiu is “a clever one, with sharp wit”. She also doesn’t seem to mind his pranks, even thinking they’re amusing. ALSO another reason that some fans ship Yun Jin and Xingqiu is because Yun Jin is an opera singer and Xingqiu is a young master, which matches the role of lovers in many period Chinese novels. This ship has a lot of chinese culture tied to them PLUS IN THE "BEHIND THE SCENES LOOK AT THE CREATION OF YUN JIN" VIDEO, THE TEAM AT HOYOVERSE SAID THIS ABOUT THEM: "There are two social relationships we have constructed for Yun Jin. It is to create a connection with two already established characters, Xingqiu and Zhongli. These characters are very knowledgeable and have traveled to many places."

as you can see from my profile I am a huge heishino shipper. I think it should be the standard along with Ittosara when it comes to straight ships in Genshin. I’m sorry jeanluc fans but I’m not sorry at the same time. Heizou and Shinobu have so much potential to be such a dynamic and interesting ship. You got the sly sort of charismatic and flirty detective with the serious, no-nonsense deputy gang leader. And it’s just I can totally see them cracking cases together as a duo and I love imagining it. Also I like the idea of Itto and Sara totally/obviously shipping them from behind the scenes and wanting to get them together

I don't think I've seen anyone say this yet so, about kazuha and scaramouche: (warning hella spoilers for interlude quest) so kazuha's ancestor (niwa) kinda took scaramouche in and was his best friend when he first woke up. but then comes dottore fuckery (turns out he's also like 400 years old gdam), and he basically causes a catastrophe in tatarasuna. scaramouche goes to find ei to ask for help cause people are getting sick and dying n stuff, and niwa is kinda the leader there so it was his responsibility to stop it. dottore made a device that can do that but they'll probably die doing it, but before niwa can go in, surprise surprise dottore kills him. before dying he says scaramouche is one of them 😭😭 dottore then cuts out his heart and puts it in the device, and when scaramouche comes back he gives him the device so he can go into the furnace. dottore also tells him that niwa ran away so he had to go into the furnace in his place. the heart protects him so he survives :') then afterwards dottore shows him the heart, tells him niwa killed a servant and put that guy's heart into it. scaramouche is horrified and leaves the island thinking niwa betrayed him (by abandoning him/making him go into the furnace/killing some guy to get a heart) many years later scaramouche kills a bunch of blacksmiths as an act of revenge, but spares a guy who looks like niwa (im not actually 100% sure about this, just repeating what ive heard) now in the interlude scaramouche finds out niwa didn't betray him at all and literally tries to erase himself from existence so the people in tatarasuna get another chance :'') doesn't work tho and another thing: in his voice lines scaramouche talks shit about everyone except nahida and kazuha lmaoo also if you've done kazuhas story quest, the blade is basically a stand-in for scaramouche. they have a lot of similarities and i feel like it shows how kazuha would treat scaramouche if they met. and on that, the interlude quest ended with scaramouche telling the traveller to tell the descendants of the raiden gokaden that he caused their downfall. he also says they could kill him if they want 😭 finally he says he's staying in sumeru for the time, and from kazuhas birthday letter we know he's also in sumeru. they could meet 👀 please excuse this very long comment

I think Wanderer x Kazuha is funnier because Wanderer knows all the shit that he’s done in the past but since Scaramouche technically got erased from everyone’s memory of history that means Kazuha will never know Scaramouche. I think both of them being sort of weird outcasts/drifters could create a fun relationship

I like XiaoVen. I think it is one of the most canonically supported ships in this game, they literally have the most romantic backstory ever and their dynamic has a lot of potential. Cynonari is a comfort ship, they are e/o's confidants, the closest person and they just heal physically and emotionally when they are together. They are both warm in subtle ways and they both can see it in the other. Cytham is all about being exes but still having feelings, some unresolved issues, maybe a bad break-up or just cyno's morals and haitham's unorthodox methodology clashing. Possibly a past relationship during their akademiya student days. You are not ready for the zhongli/azhdaha angst. Ganyu and Yae exist as a ship bc of this yae voiceline, and I quote "Hmm, now that you mention it, it's been a while since I last saw Ganyu. Before the Sakoku Decree came into effect, the two of us would often meet to discuss bilateral relations between our two nations. I always found her quite reliable. You forgot to mention how Cynari are goid adoptive dads to Collie, which is my head cannon. I also have to admit I was stuck between Dehya x Candace and Dehya X Dunyarxad because I loved the dynamics each ship had to offer but in the end went with Dehya x Cadence because their interactions screamed they are dating much like Eula x Amber does. As for your Traveler ships…. I 110% agree with them cuz I live for Chilumi while at the same time can see Xiao with either Aether or Lumine cuz they really helped him out of his shell.

Ok but now the Xingqiu/Yunjin arranged marriage got me thinking of an AU where like... they're married but are just really cool with each other as friends (this is canon) and every night they go out to "cheat on each other" with this nephew and auntie duo of Chongyun and Shenhe (respectively)?????? Okay so you said you wanted lore and such between Zhongli and Diluc so I will deliver! (Zhongluc is my favorite genshin ship like- ever so I am more than happy to do this) First, I will share my favorite fact and that fact is the Dragon and Pheonix, as we all know Zhongli is a dragon and that Diluc releases a pheonix as his burst. Well the pheonix and Dragon in Chinese folklore (?) is a example of everlasting love and beauty. And I just find this fact to be really cute. Number 2, in the bartender event Zhongli actually did go to angels share. (Most likely to visit Venti) though it isn't confirmed that they did meet there or even if they were in the same room but I still like to think that, that's how they met. 3rd fact, in a story quest Zhongli has actually talked about the taverns in Mondstadt, specifically Angels share. He actually said something negative about it too, which I find quite funny, " 'Third round knock out' is not for lightweights, like those taverns in Mondstadt. Here, the owner does not take such unorthodox orders such as fruit juice." Fourth, the quiet and talkative dynamic, as we all know Zhongli is a talker he could probably talk about a singular flower for 15 minutes if we let him and We all know Diluc doesn't like small talk and probably conversations in general, I think he would be the type to listen. And I think that if they ever met Diluc would actually like that Zhongli talks alot so then he doesn't have to talk that much, and I think that Zhongli would like that someone actually likes to listen to him talk. I actually quite hate that in game we/paimon complain about Zhonglis long rants as someone who talks alot I find his rants to be enjoyable. 5th, Fanart, oh my. The Fanart is some of the most beautiful Fanart I've ever seen I could even comment a few of my favorites. They're just so amazing and everytime I see a new one I just have to save it to my photos! And lastly, The shippers themselves. (No I am not being egotistical just because I ship them) What I mean is that every person I've met who ships Zhongluc are some of the nicest and sweetest people I've ever met. This could probably apply to other ships as well but for me it's the Zhongluc shippers. Well that is all I have for you I hope this helped you! (⁠◠⁠‿⁠・⁠)⁠-⁠☆

Ganyu and Yae Miko do have some lore behind them actually! They're kinda old friends and Yae Miko says that Ganyu is quite reliable. When Yae Miko was introduced in the special program I beleive they also used Ganyu to introduce her! I don't personally ship it they're just friends but it's less rare pair than you think!

I think its just so funny that out of all those ships none of mine are in there. I've fallen so far down the rarepair hole, its crazy. I'm cursed to only love the pairs people almost never think about, but y'know what? Its great, because that means they're all untainted 🎉

There's also Kaeyato, or scaraxiao( century long slow burn angst dynamic ) A super rare one would be NilGanfei for the 'girls with horns(both ornamental or not) throuple' On occasion i do indulge in Dottolone but only the dyanmic 'Pantalone X all of Dottores clones but not Dottore himself' because its silly. I... i think there's more, but i can't remember them all. Can you tell how deep i've fallen? I'm in utterly insane territory, i'm in one of the deepest corners, this is where my life is at. I guarantee you i could probably explain the dynamics for all of these in great detail if you asked me to. ESPECIALLY CAPILONE, Theres like 10 people in the Capilone community and i at some point *did* claim myself as the founder.

Id like to think that sara had a toxic obsession w ei and then another toxic relationship w Kokomi ending in angst, and w itto she’s finally relaxed and happy

never thought of ayato and kazuha, but now that i think of it, it has so much angst potential. also i think, kuki and sara would actually meet through itto and he would be totally oblivious to their relationship on top of that

AKJSFHG omg thank u sm :,) and I totally see what you mean that is some juice right there, but i also see the three strokes as playful flirty banter for Kaeya, truly a multilayered comment albedo's brain is huge

one of my favorite ships is albedo and scara though they've never met scara hates his human emotions and albedo wishes to feel more so albedo can help scara with feeling comfortable w/ himself and the like calm and collected and a literal murder though i now it would never happen

i see xiaoven as such an unrequited ship. xiao being in his karmic debt and in agony, was longing in pain when suddenly he heard the sound of a flute. i see him being saved and slowly starting to be intrigued towards venti but venti being totally oblivious to this fact and/or ignoring it lmao. and in recent canon clips we see venti checking up on xiao from time to time. SOO i kinda see xiao falling for venti at some point but not seeing this ship eventually work bc, among the two of them, venti is kinda the more progressive guy and i just see him too immersed in distracting himself from his sorrows and not kinda... being with someone?

never thought kazuscara would be on the list it's peak for me along with naricyno

Hey! The kokomi x hu tao thing is pretty sure a play on the anime, Toilet Bound Hanako Kun! People ship them because kokomi and hu Tao remind them of nene and hanako (the main characters and love interests in the anime) I don’t ship them personally tho 😅 Also I came back to this channel like 6 months later bc you popped up on my fyp and my god you’re hilarious! Cyno and Tighnari are the freaking REASONS I've even started playing genshin in the first place. I saw them in the animated music video of the diagnosis and was like 'idk who those 2 are but I ship them' when I got more into the fandom I saw the most amazing ship art of the two. In the end, with a little nudge from my friend, I actually downloaded the game 😊

(okay so I haven't played windblume yet ashfiafha but I've been spoiled plenty) I don't ship collei/sucrose cause I see collei as un baby but cyno/albedo is sooooo cute! Their breakup would be drama free and mature and they probably broke up with each other with some stupid pun 🙄🙄

Yeah I still don't know why MC wasn't included in the tier list but YES Aether/Albedo is SOOO PEAK, tho I am a big fan of Aether w venti, thoma and Heizou but they aren't my absolute favorite since I ship those three more with others but SLAY Aether deserves the love I don't know too much about Wenyuan/Shanghua I haven't done Yelan's storyquest yet so I'll get back to u 👀👀 BUT KEISUKE/SAKUJIROU i almost forgot about them but THEY ARE EVERYTHINNGG!!! agree kazuscara one of the best ship. after the "inversion of being", Sсara himself said that he wanted the heirs of Raiden gokaden to know about him, he was even ready to die at their hands out of guilt. this is especially true for kazuha, because the connection is the most (Niva, etc.) + they really have a lot in common (REALLY), even a remark about kazuha. if one has problems accepting the past (which even Nahida voices), then the other has accepted and is now living in the present and enjoying life, and can help the first. huge potential + their meeting is a matter of time.

My personal top 5: 1.kazugorou 2.thomayato 3.xiaoaether 4.cynonari 5.congqiu
