Off topic. Me and one of my friends watched Survivor Series 2002 this past Friday. All I can say is still stands out as a great PPV all these years later. All the matches were great, there was none of the silly Raw vs SmackDown nonsense as the brand split actually meant something and was taken a lot more seriously back then. Survivor Series 2002 was also the PPV where the elimination chamber made it's debut and the first ever match comprised of Shawn Michaels vs Triple H vs Booker T vs RVD vs Chris Jericho vs Kane for the then World Heavyweight Championship. I just wish that WWE could go back to those days and having great PPVs like that. Raw and Smackdown was also decent back then too.

Lmao yeah they all just beef all of a sudden now, its awful. No end incentive either haha one brand just ‘wins’ and that’s just it hahaha nothing but a ‘you win’. NXT won that year, they celebrated like they won the world itself and then the week after that was that. Nothing. Elimination chamber also need to go back to being a stipulation match as opposed to an entire PPV. Don’t know why they stopped calling the event no way out, it fit. Fk vince.

I should also add back then there was a lot more focus on long-term booking and angles were given a lot more time and made more sense unlike the constant start/stop booking that takes place today which doesn’t make any sense.

Honestly, I think they could do the “Brand Supremacy” ish every 4 years in my opinion. But every two years they should pull a 1998 & 2002 where they can do “Elimination” themed matches like Table Matches, Battle Royales, Elimination Chamber, Etc. And for certain Survivor Series PPV’s you can dedicate some SS Elimination Matches to certain feuds on Raw or Smackdown.

Chris Harris at Lockdown 2007 (It was a blindfold match, and this was the culmination of a blood feud and the breakup of America's Most Wanted. One of the best Tag Teams in Impact's early years). And Jeff Hardy Vs. Sting at Victory Road 2011 (An utter train wreck that damaged everyone and everything in the vicinity. Fortunately, Jeff Hardy would redeem himself quite well next year).

The only reason I think the victory road match isn't on here, as terrible as it was, is the length. I mean yeah all the shenanigans Jeff was doing beforehand was a dousy, and Bischoff stalling/explaining the new finish to Sting and the ref was time consuming, but that was all pre-match I believe. Once the bell rang it was Jeff teasing throwing his shirt, maybe a little corner action, then Sting just hit the Scorpion Death Drop and a forced pin. It was just a crap squash at that point, but these matches on this list went at least a decent length and were crap the whole time. It's like what's worse to watch match wise, 2 minutes of crap or 20 minutes of crap.

Bray was over because these gimmicks were kinda interesting, stuff we hadn't seen in a while in the wrestling world. And sadly, it didn't work well at the end. But why? Well, in great part because of these matches and some others that surprisely didn't make it into this list (I'm looking at you, Goldberg vs. Fiend at Super ShowDown 2020 and Randy Orton vs. Fiend at Wrestlemania 37!).

How did Sting vs Jeff Hardy at tna Victory Road miss the list? I don't even blame Jeff for going out there. It's on whoever let this mess happen in the first place. Hardy was clearly too messed up to work. Someone should've stopped him from going out there. And the worst part from the business side is that some, hopefully almost no one, probably think that Sting's a bad guy for doing ANYTHING to their hero, Jeff Hardy.

I think your statement just answered your own question. It is because the match itself was never meant to be really well constructed at execution, considering they really forced Jeff to go in with all those drowsy state, forcing the performers to act quickly; its more like they were having some misunderstandings backstage that forced them to finish the shit early, It doesnt even made it look like a damn match, only several seconds left. Its too bad to be called match, let alone to be called the worst match.

@@vincentiusjordan4474 I would completely agree with you, but they still let Jeff go out there in front of the crowd. If they ring the bell, to me that constitutes a match. Should they have stopped him from going out? Obviously. Did they let it happen? Sadly yes. Since they let it go on, even after the ref told them it shouldn't, it is a match.
