In the books Pertorabo's adoptive father and sister do actually try pretty hard to treat him like an actual blood relative and go out of their way to be loving towards him, but perty thinks he's only ever being used and manipulated, massive foreshadowing of the emperor using the iron warriors to fight his most brutal campaigns such as the extermination of the Hrud without even acknowledging their sacrifice and his inevitable fall to the ruinous powers, which if you ask me makes his story all the more sad and well written when he returned to Olympia after it's rebellion and killed the only person to ever truly love him in the emperors name

@@williamantcliff129you make a good point about Perty overall but he was constantly tormented by the eye of terror, he could see it at all times and it could see him. Plus he was raised on a planet where every corner and shadow had a blade hidden behind it. It was a world where the moment you let your guard down you were dead. So while his family wasn’t too terrible the amount of anxiety he felt it’s easy to see why he couldn’t accept their praise, he felt like he was being used.

Dammekos was a fucking tyrant of a city state who was constantly busy and couldn’t show weakness or too much emotion, and also began their relationship with a transaction. The tragedy of it is that he could not open up to Perturabo and/or get him to reciprocate because of his own character and Perturabo’s paranoia and cynicism. Dammekos himself feels bad about this, but he can’t do shit. It’s like dealing with an emo teenager who refuses to take the love at face value, always finding something to get annoyed or pissy about. Honestly, Perturabo’s whole life and all of his oftentimes awkward failed relationships with multiple people just makes me feel sorry for everybody involved 😂 he was fucked from the beginning.

Basically when the emperor created the primarchs he used the energy of the warp, this is what gave them all their great powers and so on. Corvux, in one of the saddest events, was deceived by a servant of Lorgar (if memory serves) so he was in a severe depression, locking himself up for years in complete solitude. when he came out he was determined to kill Lorgar and destroy the worlds where chaos was making the space marines (the sad incident ended up being a test for a method of creating space marines that would be used by chaos later) then corvux enters the warp and After several years of killing servants of chaos, demons and other aberrations, it has that appearance Remember that they are made with warp energy, Corvux's current body is his "true form"

I feel bad for morty. He never wanted to be a demon. He would have been similar to Perty but typhon (currently typhus) sold his legion to nurgle by convincing mortarion that the navigators were all against him and that he would pilot the ship as he was a psycer. Once All the navigators were dead nurgle happened and a few days later typhon became typhus and mortarion was forced to become a demon primarch. Typhus was also the advisor of mortarion so he was way more trustworthy than if some random legion member said that.

Dorn isn't overrated but some of his feats are stretched by the fans. His "duel" with fulgrim was basically fulgrim monologueing while dorn kept slashing him until he got bored and went for the civilians. Dorn even admits to sanguinius that if fulgrim was serious he would have taken down the wall and ended the siege right there. And let's not talk about what happened after the siege (Iron Cage incident)

The space marine subfactions I’ve seen new players go for the most are Dark angles and Blood angles. Most people, even new players are bored of the Ultramarines.

@@bittercad1137 The space wolf had no more people’s left after prospero and alpharius fight so they barely did anything. Khan would likely have beaten fulgrim if he wasn’t busy decapitating morty. And how did he stop the traitors, Horus was in a rush because the lion and gullinman were about to come back. He stop them in the sense that he was the one there all loyalists but guilliman could have done the same. He is in the lower half of the primarch in a fight I would say. and Fulgrim is amongst the weakest even as a snake guy Only beating the twins lorgar and guiliman. Maybe Corvus but he has hax invisibility. What I’m trying to say most other loyalist would have done the same or better they were just all busy.

@@fjorddkcckkc3783 yeah. Maybe he has his lightning claws and a regular primarch body but larger and maybe a little hunched or something. Then he has massive wings on his back and talons where his feet are meant to be. And maybe a bird like helmet (not fully like the Horus heresy beaky, helmets. But maybe a little similar). And maybe he could have a flock of birds in his base or perched on his armour. So many possibilities. Side note, I FINALLY got my hands on the Angron mini. Am SO excited to build and paint it. If I ever get the money. I might just use magnus, Angron, lord of change, + a few other things to kitbash myself a demon Corvus.
