@@guitarofdestiny I have one and they fit true to size but keep in mind that they're a loose fit (looks insanely good btw) but if you want a really tight fit then go a size down.

Even when it comes to the clothes, there's some bangers in there. They like using tie dye, so that's already a + from me, some of their looser fits sit so well too. Shoes... Literally half my shoes are Vans, the most consistent brand for me personally, and there's still many I'd love to buy at a semi-responsible pace. I think I may have bought only 1 or 2 Vans items without sale (Including a pair of customs), many others had like 50% off, I always keep an eye on them.

I got a Vans hoodie about 10 years ago, I wore and still wear it constantly for all kind of different activities. Of course the colors are slightly faded, but it is still soft, fits perfectly, no loose threads and no peeling!

Never liked obey but they have a sick pair of denim carpenter pants out right now. Skates really well, similar fit to big boys and half the price.

Carhartt is far from skate apparel. Carhartt is work wear. I used to be a logger and I wore carhartt every day because it’s for working in. It’s not meant for a fashion statement it’s meant for its durability and performance in the work field. If you wear carhartt while you skate that is completely up to you and understandable because they make comfortable clothing but it’s definitely not skate apparel

I work as a luxury shoemaker in France...rather hard and exhausting work, I (and "we", with my coworkers) need some strong clothes ! And this is why we wearing Carhartt clothes, in a luxury shop ! We have a Carhartt shop like 100 meters next to us and we all wearing turtleneck sweaters and overalls...because of that I bought all my clothes at Carhartt, I'm only wearing this brand now and I'm happy of that !

i ripped mine doing an ollie lmfao. was from bending down so far and the pocket tore. however i love their paints i have 3 pairs and all have been super comfy and durable and they just fit really good

You should buy polar 93 denim they are a little bit cheaper and have a better fit then the big boys in my opinion. Their surf pants are sick too if you buy a size up so they are a lot baggier. Also look at big boy shorts and surf shorts they are sick too.

Obey should be solid though. Those creep logo or the giant is iconic. Makes people think what shirt is that, yet it's cool. The brand used to be risen, and now became underrated. On top of that, I liked my both obey shirts.

5:03 I think there's a big difference in how you take from styles of which you're not really a part, skaters themselves took things from other styles like hiphop and hippie, you can usually just kinda tell when someone is forcing something into their wardrobe without the thought going deeper than ''yes this cool skater-man logo''. Even aside from iteration, you can take the whole skater look if you just genuinely feel like it represents you and what you like, even if they might look like they're just posers to me and others, if you know it's real, that's all that matters. Hell, there's even skaters that rock a totally different look, just be you and you'll be good.

I just pick up what looks good and usually the brand ends up being vans , volcom, element or hell even doom sayers creature salty Etc long as tees are 100 cotton thicker side material and usually prett simple designs

Baggy pants are overrated. I don’t like swimming in my pants & especially with my body type I be swimming in em. I guess skinny’s used to be too, idk. I can’t rock skinny’s anymore cause they’re so restrictive but I respect it. Slim/slim straight middle ground gang in this bitch.
