Ranking Jane Austen before rereading.
Ойын-сауық
Hey friends! Today I am ranking the six major Jane Austen novels before I finish rereading them. I thought it would be fun to come back and rank them again at the end of Jane Austen July when I will have finished rereading at least two of them.

Thanks for this. I must read more Jane Austen. Can't understand why I haven't prioritised this before. Thanks for the prod.

@@apoetreadstowrite I just find that her work resonates with me a lot. The way she can create stories in which nothing really exciting happens but yet I still laugh and relate to the characters is great! Thanks for watching!

@@MyMessyBookshelf I'll get into it. I want to read more George Eliot also. I love 'Daniel Deronda', but must pursue the rest. Thanks for the prod - just what I need.
This will be fun to watch to see if your order changes. P&P is my fav so far.

I’m excited to see if my opinions change! I see we share a favorite :)
I agree with your comments and ranking about Mansfield Park. My ranking would be this: 6. Mansfield Park 5. Northanger Abbey 4. Emma 3. Pride & Prejudice 2. Sense & Sensibility 1. Persuasion I think I need to reread them, like you, to see if my thoughts change!

Oooh thank you. I always enjoy seeing how others rank them! I am actually really excited to see if and how my opinions change at the end of the month!
So here's my list, from most liked to least liked (at least for now) 1. Emma 2. Persuasion 3. Pride and Prejudice 4. Sense & Sensibility 5. Northanger Abbey 6. Mansfield Park Although maybe I would switch P&P with Persuasion... I'm not sure now LOL! But Emma is definitely my top favorite.

I see we have similar tastes! I love seeing other readers’ rankings of these books!
Hi, l like listening to your passion about Jane Austen. In my reading group has been proposed to read "Sense and Sensibility" a few months ago, so I' ve started to read her. On May I went to a Book Festival, near my city, listening to some writers and I bought "Emma", I' d like to know more about her writing.

It’s a lovely book!
Pride & Prejudice is my favorite. Read it 3 times. Enjoyed it 3 times. Maybe best books in English lit, in my opinion. Read all of her other novels. Can't say I enjoyed them much. I was greatly disappointed. Read them a second time to give them another chance. Same result.
