I remember back when genshin came out and how people did tier lists that look so horrible now. And here we are again. But after genshin, I don't think there will be a game that people have to learn the mechanics from scratch while fumbling around, will come for a long time. So these teir lists will most likely stand the test of time until they get power crept as we see in PGR.

Another main problem with him is how his literal gameplay of staying in air becomes a weakness (awkward dodging and easy to interrupt) but then again... they couldn't possibly remove that aspect cause that's literally what's his core quirk is 😭

I appreciate the note at the end. It's always fun to have a general idea of what to go for. But if you like a character and don't want to follow the meta, that's totally fine. Enjoy the game how you want :)

I'm just playing on my 2nd day and I already got two 5 stars, then will get another 1 more...of my choice?!! Now, I have to watch this guide because I'm getting invested and I want to know the character to choose...yeah choose and not to gamble for. I know this one game that COULD NEVER do this... hopefully WuWa gets the support they deserve for listening to their playerbase. And of course nice vid as always, Brax! Keep it up!

I am wondering how these list will change once the Day one balance adjustments are factored. They seem to have made some adjustment to most of the characters and a few massively.

going for Yin Lin she's basically Vera at home looks exactly her i know its same artists and company, still her high rarity was lightning, but seems in WW she's more dps

Gonna grab myself a jianxin fave Design until changli and i heard someone compare her playstyle to beidou and thats an instant win for me, also lowkey hoping changing is second half of 1.1 so i can play elden ring dlc and dawntrail without too much interruption

Finally a game with what looks like a relatively balanced genders on the meta list

I just love Yang yang's design. I hope I could max her early on.

Play the game as you like, whether that be with stats or with aesthetics. Only you know what is going to make an enjoyable playing experience for YOU. Stop trying to appease the internet.

I do hope they take what they learned from PGR, and buff the characters eventually to make them usable in the future even with new meta units. PGR leaps are a fun addition, I hope an equivalent will come in WuWa someday.

I’m saving my power (pulls) so that I can use the Unlimited Pull Works technique when a Waifu I’m invested in comes out. Because there is no better way to play.

Let's just hope BS units like Verina don't come by often. Genshin's sorry state of gameplay is the way that it is in no small part because of overturned support units like Bennett, Xingqiu, Zhongli, etc...

Taoqi is only insane in the depth of illusive realm mode where you can change her abilities. I wish that AoE vacuum effect on counters was part of her default kit.

I though i was unlucky when i got verina because of the design but now knowing that i got her and a c6 danjin ( still waiting for mortefi ) im happy

Honestly speaking, Jianxin is basically Kazuha's wife. She does everything: main dps, sub dps, shielder, grouper, healer, she can mitigate dmg and counter it. How are we supposed to not like her?

i fucking love the honkaiverse part of hoyoverse to be honest but the company itself can suck a dick. money won't mean shit. look, ZZZ looks great and amazing (i will always be praising the artists and projects they worked hard on) but it isn't even close to getting me hyped right now like wuthering waves is. ZZZ just feels like yet another one of their action rpg titles to add onto their endless roster of said action rpg games. it's not unique enough and most certainly will not be justifiable downloading yet my, what, 6th gacha now? if a few years down the line ZZZ has something worthy to offer and not be another generic game, i will give it a chance.

It's not a hoyoverse contract, its a zzz contract, zzz is managed under a different management, they are also developed by the i think it was Canadian branch of Hoyo, still part of hoyo tho but hsr and genshin management has no such issues.

I’m just gonna skip 1.0 and maybe 1.1 characters , I’d actually like to try hoarding pulls and see how far I can go

Taoqi and Chixia, my favorite characters in Wuwa are known as the Amber and Dehya of Wuwa! coincidentally Amber and Dehya were also one of my favorite characters in Genshin! 🤣🤣🤣 the characters I like visually ended up having ̶t̶r̶a̶s̶h̶ kits 4 times now!

I mean you can win with just one character (if they aren't immune) cause of dodges and counters. But yeah there are characters that increase damage (via buffs or off-field attacks) or heal.

In pgr tanks contribute a huge portion of dps and damage support so not sure if it will be the same

Jianxin is actually really good support she is like venti + zhongli so it your having a hard time Dodging then she is the one for u. And yeah she also heals. Basically you can't die if you learn how to play her.

I was pleasantly surprised to see they have character designs/models that actually look like adults...but I guess only the men. I need them to add more adult-looking female characters expeditiously

Bruh, Danjin doesn't have self sustain infact she's literally always gonna be either at 1% or 50% hp, but I do agree with her being S tier tho, her damage is insane
