Dicker Max up to the Nashorn are insane snipers. The D max and strur Emil have ridiculous gun depression. They’re my favorite tanks on most maps just because of the ability to crest hills and delete people

6:45 Jadgpanzer series have lower profile, meaning they are easier to hide and more difficult to hit. They also have less weak spots than the panther Also Jadgpanzer is pretty pronounceable compared to other German names like the sonderkraftfahrtzeug so idk what ur on about there

Ok that’s true, I’ll admit they’re not as bad as I make it out to be if you know how to use tank destroyers. They’re one of the first rank 3 vehicles I unlocked though so my K/D with them is through the floor, which is mainly why I ranked them so low. I haven’t played them recently so maybe I’ll try them out soon.

through the floor good or bad? Jadgpanzer IV/70 was the best K/D ratio I had as a newer player better than 2:1. It got uptiered, probably for good reason. The Jadgpazer IV L48 is pretty damn good also. Annoyingly they don't look as sexy as turreted tanks@@27jagers

After playing Germany for years, i have found the best way to play Tiger and Panther is to awlays avoid the main battle area. What most people do is to rush their Panther and Tiger near the cap point of into the cap point and got ambushed and killed by many light tank especially by the M18. By closing the distance, you are actually making it easier for the enemy to kill you and when you look at how the Tiger and Panther been use in real life, and apply it to WarThunder, your kill/death ratio would be significantly improved. Yes Panther and Tiger had been use as breakthrough tank but most of the time, they been used as defense. Pretty much most of German heavy tanks were made of the time that Germany was on the defense. So this is what i do, at the start of the match, i always avoid the hot area and go to spot in the map that could over see a large portion of the map and oversee the cap point because this is where the enemy is going through. Stay at least 1 to 1.5 km away from the enemy. And simply wait for them to come. This is gonna be either a very boring match that you have only 1-2 kills if your team is winning, but if your team is losing, it’s your time to shine because of your position the enemy will forced to engage in far distance battle and reduce their advantage, and distance will maximize your armor and Tiger and especially Panther have an excellent gun that’s very easy to aim in long distance. Most of the time, you will able to wipe them out before getting bombed by enemy airplane.

Wasn't the panther designed for longer distance battles? Excellent gun and long range meant the armour would've been more effective while being able to penetrate enemies.

Dicker Max is good and shouldnt be at F-Tier. Same with the Sturer Emil. I've been playing this game since 2015 and still I'm blown away on how good it is.

Why play with Dicker Max-nashorn-Waffentrager? Because they have massive range and huge missiles. They can wreck any heavy tank even from higher tiers. Very reasonable way to play.

As a Sturer Emil main I agree that it's bad but I've gotten consistent 6 kill games with it so in my opinion, it's a 4.0 jagdtiger. Bonus: it can withstand a 12.7mm frontal so no 50 spam. (Also 227mm of pen with the 550 grams of HE filler is just a KV's nightmare)

As a KV-1E enjoyer, I agree that these things hit very hard. Also the 8.8ck FlaK. Also, I really hate fighting the Jagdpanzer IV and 38(t)

On Tigers, my friends playing Americans love to see Tigers on enemy side - they are free lunch for them. Tiger were good at tiers 5.3 and 5.7. Now, they were all moved up one notch and they are questionable. Not bad, but you start at disadvantage more than half of the time.

Come at my whirlwind, i am gonna show you a free kill. that’s what you are for me actually.

The Best tank in the German tech tree is prob. the Panzer III J series. Those absolutely DESTROY their BR. You can legit play it like a light Tiger. Super versatile and weirdly well armored at an angle. The Flak 88 is the next choice if you want to bully. If you know a good spot, you have 8 kills. Simple as. The best vehicle is obviously the Puma. I have won games with it with an ace at 8.7, and if I get crapped on in my other tanks, I take it out and bully the T34s and KV-1 till I get strafed. The Hetzer is a brawler and can be played surprisingly aggressive. Quite fun. The Jagdpanzer VI series is also king of their BRs, the first as a brawler, the later 80 mm front one as a sniper with brawler potential (running full speed at T34 after they shoot is fun). The Tiger 1 and 2 can both be played like you except a heavy tank to play, and I love them for it. The current BR bracet of the Tiger II is also the last that isn't infested by speed meta. Treasure it. The Maus is as good as the team. Play it like a Tiger 2, and you can hold ground extremely well. IS-3 will flee when you slowly turn your turret towards them, which is just fun. But you won't do much hunting down tanks and flag capture. You are... well, the tank.

I’ve never tried to play the Hetzer or Jagdpanzers as brawlers before, so that’s definitely something I’m going to try out in the future. I’m researching the Maus now, and it’s nice to know it’s not rendered completely useless by missiles and HEAT-FS. On everything else you said I completely agree, overall Germany is probably the strongest nation for tanks in the game.

@@27jagers Certainly the most diverse. Cold War is soso, depending on if you like to play badly armored but fast tanks. The inverse of mid-late WW2. But the MBTs feel awesome. No annoying feature like soviets with their bad reverse. They punish mistakes, but they also do exactly what you want.

Tbh a 50 sec reload for the strum tiger is justified because it can probably kill 2+ tanks with one round. I would at least place it at A or B tier, especially because the armour is extremely good for the br

@@27jagersYou can’t really get the sturm tiger, but i definitely recommend the puma, is is very quick and has a good gun. It’s also really used until 6.3, due to the lack of light tanks in the german tree.

I dont understand why the pz.35 goes to C, maybe it doenst have a great gun, nor great armor, but both are decent, and most importantly its verx fast and has a stabilizer, pretty sure this one and its upgrade are the only german ones with stabilizers

Tigers were often crewed with the highly experienced SS elite tank commanders. It wasn’t easy to find talented people who can handle combat situations well. Putting highly trained tank commanders in a survivable tank allow them to dominate the battlefield. Tigers were a waste of resources indeed but it was definitely not a great idea to put ur favorite well trained general in a T-34 with bad visibility and cramped space, they die in no time. The KD of Tiger tanks was clearly higher than the Allies tanks could achieve, battle of Kursk for example. (Tiger tanks were crewed with smartasses). The controversy of Tigers breaking down frequently was just the Allie propaganda, in fact the Tigers were actually a lot more reliable than the Soviet KV1. Tbh no point stopping the production of Tiger 2 and switch the workforce to Panzer 4 (weak tank more death ☠️) cuz Germany losing the war was inevitable, they did really well on holding the two fronts.

I agree, the tiger and panther were a good idea considering Germany had very limited manpower compared to the allies. I still feel the King Tiger was a bit too much though, those resources could have been invested in countering allied airpower or building more u-boats.

You clearly have not played the Jagpanzer IV and Panzer IV/70 enough to call the panther better. The Panther is a glass cannon. Is it fun? Yes. Is it easily killable by anyone with more than three braincells? Also yes. The cupola, turret cheeks, hell even the mantlet is weak to a 75mm Sherman. The IV and IV/70 are very hard to kill from the front, but yes, like the Stugs and Panthers, is very squishy when it comes to side armor. This trend continues with the Jagpanther G1. Outstanding frontal armor and firepower, decent mobility, and overall a better pick than a panther. The only Panther that’s actually good is the Panther F. Shorter reload and much tougher turret. The D is honestly only good as a casemate, and even then the turret is so slow you’ll be begging for mercy the instant a T-34 or Sherman pulls up. The A is good but prone to trap shot, the G is mid, like incredibly mid. The VK works and is a nice bridge between a light/medium tank, but, a 76 or 85 will laugh at you. It’s simply a fact that the panthers are “okay” but they can be fun to play if you’re not the average German main

The best thing about the Panther isn’t the armor, it’s the ability to almost always survive the first shot even when you’re hit with APHE. The tank destroyers are very good vehicles no doubt, few things can penetrate them but the ones that can will usually oneshot them. I guess it mainly depends on your playstyle, I typically play kind of risky flanks so having a turret and being able to survive the first shot are very helpful to me. If you prefer sniping or working with your team, the additional armor on the tank destroyers might be more useful.

If just like to say the sturmtiger was judged a little harshly, cause I was able to get 11 kills in a single game, with multiple collats as well, sure I had good team support but it doesn’t devalue the sturmtiger at all, if you know how to play it well you can have some really good games + reload is 40sec with a max crew

It is a very good vehicle, and should probably go up in BR, but when it’s alone it struggles. You need to work with your team somewhat to make sure you don’t get rushed by multiple enemies. Really fun vehicle to play with friends though.

As a TD ace player of only 400 hours and 4k players killed the jagdpanzer 4.3 stug. 3g and hetzer is literal God tier at 4.3 where it's armor u can bounce shells and actually feel safe knowing your armor will help u just watch out for annoying spaa guns fucking zis trucks I hate cuz instant barrel out but it is legit god tier love the tank destroyers at 4.3 if they ever get moved up to 4.7 I riot lol I strictly grind germany 4.3 and I'm only level 23 just my opinion best lineup germany 4.3

The hetzer is good, stug 3 g is great, jagdpanzer is great, and panzer 4 70 v is pretty good.

Jagpanzers and jagpanther shoul be A/S tier, jagpanzer IV/70 is basically a panther without any weakspot wchich makes it impenetrable, same with jagpanzer 38t, about jagpanther, the gun at its br is just devastating, if u dont meet 122 you are also nearly impossible to pen

Pz IIIs are elite, they should be higher. They got me through rank II.

I was only joking, the Jagdpanther is very good especially now that it’s 6.0 BR. I still personally feel that the Panther is better, but you’re free to disagree.

The StuG is the most produced tank, not the panzer IV

Never rate again brother, half of these ratings suck and have garbage reasons for putting them there, like for me the jagdpanther would be S tier, it’s fast, has armor, no turret weakness, and it has the long 88, and if you angle the hull a little bit you can bounce American 90mm’s and soviet 85mm’s at close range. Also the tiger 2 H being at A tier purely because it sucked in real life is a bad reason, this is a war thunder tier list.

I'm going to say it and because i have them both. The panther 2 and tiger 2 105 are both SSS tier cause the combine both of what the regular panthers and tiger 2s lack. Panther 2 gives a panther the gun and pin also a actual reverse gear. The tiger 2 105 gives the tiger 2 more horse power and a longer range gun plus with the 105 the ammo is split so instead of all ammo in turret the heads are in turret and the charges in hull so it doesn't get ammo racked near as much as regular tiger 2s

Doesn’t the Tiger 2 105 have a significantly longer reload than the other Tiger 2s though? I don’t have it so I don’t know if that’s a good tradeoff for the better mobility and penetration. I’ve never fought the Panther 2 before and I don’t have it either, but it seems like a good vehicle if it’s just an improved Panther.

Did it for the video, I can’t actually speak German lol. It was pretty interesting to see what War Thunder looks like in other languages though. In the Italian version of War Thunder (which I can understand), some maps have a little bit of historical background given in the loading screen when joining a battle, which I think is really cool and something they should implement in the English version too.

Just get good at these vehicles and dont complain about german paper tank destroyers

u put the baby tiger in f cuz u cant spell or read his name XD try that lil bugger out and ull like him ^^ the sturmtiger has an bad reload yes. but u play that beast in 8.0-11.7 matches anyway cuz it just deleats sutff ^^ dont get ur hate for the hetzer (jagdpanzer 38t) and jp (jagdpanther) solid vehicles with pritty good guns, good mobilety and respectable armore. my tipp: play a lil with these 2 and ull lern to like them. maus, dicker max/sturer emil and sdkfz aka the puma i get and agree ferdinantin d i find quit harsch. if we are talking tank on tank combat its at least c, maby even b. but with cas its an automatic f. ferdi has a metric fucktonn of armore which aint penned that easyly. one of the best sniper tanks too, but no frend of cqb maps
