In this video, I rank all 12 of terraria's major biomes in order, based on how useful each one proves to be. Each biome in Terraria has unique bosses, weapons, armor, and a whole lot more.

Theoretically the shimmer is a biome of it's own, it's only "dependancy" is which side the jungle is on, but it's not a part of the jungle

Shimmer (Aether) is considered a “mini biome” by the wiki, I decided to just go for the main ones here
evil biomes and hallow be spreading across the world ice biome be giving chilled debuff desert be having rolling cactus jungle glowing mush and underworld be having crazy spawn rates but forest just peaceful asf underrated

I think a tier list of the utility/usefulness of biomes is very different to the enjoyment of biomes, for usefulness tho yeah you make good points

I think you placed mushroom biome way too low, it's so good for early game to get alot of life crystals and chests since alot of them spawn there

saying "alot" is a bit generous imo, there's usually only like 2 or 3 of each, which is good, just not game changing
