I found this channel a week or two ago and I have to say props to you for making propper content consistently, only really watch FullMount consistently aside from you since two weeks. To put it bluntly most of the MMA youtube channels are propper garbage but I have been enjoying your vids since I discovered you. Keep going strong mate

The only reason I'd be tempted to rank Strickland vs. Costa highly at all is because of Costa, he'll be the sole source of excitement in the fight. Strickland consistently fights like he's sparring, unless you literally fall apart in front of him he'll have no motivation to up the pace. His fight with Izzy was quite lackluster after that first round knockdown.

Agree, I don’t have high opinion of Strickland but Costa I find extremely compelling. Such a weird and funny dude with a very exciting style, and I thought he was done around the time he pulled out of the Chamaev fight but all of a sudden I can see a scenario where he does something amazing (maybe against Strickland) and gets a title shot.

McGregor just deleted an Instagram slide of him partying with his girlfriend drunk (he probably was too). It’s done.

And regarding to the worry of Chimaev just holding Whittaker down for the entire fight like he did with Usman, I think we both saw that that gassed Chimaev out big time by the end of the 3rd round and since this is a 5 rounder with Whittaker's experience I am confident that that won't be a viable strategy to win for him this time.

MVP and Garry is at least an A tier. Both are amazing fighters and absolutely insufferable. Seeing them beat each other up (with the added plus that one of them WILL lose) is awesome.

@joeswanson5486 gamrot deserves it more but title shots are more so based off popularity than Merit nowadays. Vera over Merab, Stipe over Aspinall, Colby over belal. Dana was even reluctant on giving dricus a shot and only did it cuz Chimaev was having health issues. These undeserved title shots just don't get my hyped, vera and Colby couldn't even make it competitive.

There’s no way you put chandler and McGregor over Islam and Dustin. In what world is that a more exciting fight? Strickland vs costa, is not more of a banger than Islam vs Dustin, and this is coming from a huge fan on Strickland. Other than that I guess every other ranking is fairly fine. I’d probably move cannonier to B just because it’s not as fun as the other fights on a rank. Rather inconsistent reasoning for rankings but oh well.

The styles are more exciting. Chandler and McGregor are the fastest starters in the UFC, both like to stand and trade, and both have real KO power. So the chances are that fight is gonna be a barnburner from the second it starts. While Dustin is exciting, Makhachev's style is so grappling heavy that he is likely to score takedowns and stall rather than advancing.

Certain styles are more exciting to a larger crowd than others. Both strikers with good power, good pace and aren’t afraid to bang it out. Dustin is a fun fighter to watch and doesn’t mind scraping but Islam doesn’t. It’s literally so obvious that Conor vs Chandler is more exciting to watch than Islam vs Dustin. Strickland vs costa is way more of a banger than Islam vs Dustin as well. What’s exciting about a fight where one is very clearly mismatched? Cannonier fight should be dropped to B, I agree
