@@PhantomPraetor Absolutely. They already showed predacon Scorponok but as a huge drone army send by Unicron. And some concept arts show predacon Rampage, but he didn't make the cut. The point is, they have big intentions of bringing the Beast Wars predacons in for a movie and just teased them on the big screen. Maybe they will appear as an elite or hunter group working for unicron to eliminate his "problems"? Nonetheless, I am 100% sure they will fight the maximals very soon.

Fun fact about the original Beast Wars Cybertronian design. It’s actually a reused asset. It’s the Giant Robot from Mainframe’s older show Reboot, specifically the Nullzilla episode. They just took the Robot, coloured it black and purple, and attached Megatron’s head on it. They did this because we were never meant to spend much time focusing on his Cybertronian mode. Just a few unfocused shots before going straight to the main focus, beast modes

I really love BW Megatron, his plans and appearances are always amazing! Sweet to have David Kaye on the channel too, Mr Megatron (Armada)/Mr. Megatron (Beast Wars)/Mr Optimus (Animated) is always a treat to listen to!

It should be pointed out the crocodile/aligator Megatron was ALWAYS intended to be a new character, this decision happned around the same time it was decided to make the teams Maximals and Predacons instead of Autobots and Decepticons. The idea that he was the old Megatron is a fan theory from collectors who did not - at the time - want to accept the idea of him and Optimus Primal as new characters in their own right. This misinformation is unfortantly been preserved in the TFWiki even though they know better and have been called out on it several times in the past.

The Ryan Miller megs redesign kinda looks like what the character would look like in the bay films. But like actually good.

Hey now lets be fair, his Last Knight design is honestly pretty awesome (the only good thing about that movie arguably).

My second favorite is honestly the Grand Mal. I mostly love that Megatron finally starts acting more like he did in bw when he gets that body; arrogant but well spoken.

Im curious, could we in future potentially see Peter Cullen or Frank Welker as well for a future ranking video.

Probably not

Beast Machines Optimal form was ky favourite in that show. He used it properly where as Optimus always held back in that form and times he didn't he was pretty awesome.

Part of me wants them to do a legacy figure of the “Theft of the Golden Disk” Megatron

I feel Beast Machines Megs should've ranked (a little) higher. His actual toy was pretty cool, and I personally really liked the Beast Machines story. Additionally, I believe the purpose of Savage Noble's wolf-mode was to drive home to the viewer the 'werewolf' metaphor.

Every Beast Wars/Beast Machines Megatron design is pretty awesome. David Kaye's glorious voice and performance certainly helps too. It's odd that he's a Tyrannosaurs and then a dragon, you'd think that he'd be a GOAT.

I always imagined what Megatron would have looked like if he'd used the transmetal 2 driver. Would his robot head/face had a redesign?

Transmetal Megs has always been my favorite. I loved the tail cannon and the re-designed "helmet".

You know I never thought about it before but BW megs had a pretty logical evolution. T-Rex to flying T-Rex to actual dragon makes perfect sense as an upgrade path

Beast Wars Megatron is honestly the only character whose Transmetal designs I actually kind of like. I don’t particularly like his first one’s robot mode, but the beast mode is kind of neat, and the dragon one is honestly the coolest Beast Wars design imo

I love the fact that he has the same head time, as if he's wearing clothes. Which makes his 3rd design looks like he's wearing a dragon suit, which is adorable.

I never noticed it until now but it seems the age of Extinction Galvatron head design was based on beast machine Megatron. When beast machine Megatron is covered up it looks just like the movie Galvatron

While I like how the Kingdom figure looks, I’m not crazy about the skin on it. I’d actually prefer to be a hard plastic instead that looks like skin. Not sure why they did that for Megatron’s figure when they didn’t do it for any of the BW characters, not even Dinobot. Also, my favorite design is Transmetal 1. I remember getting the original one for Christmas and driving my uncle crazy asking him to transform it for me as I played with it.

I just bought the Transart Transmetal Megatron MP and I can't wait for it to arrive. Its my favourite BW Megs design. The TM2 version is amazing as well and the Legacy toy is excellent. It's not perfect, but for the budget, it's excellent. I have the Premium Finish Primal and Megatron set coming and that will have to do for the first Megs until I get the MP version. The Kingdom version is also pretty good and did me for a while.

Fun fact: what is ooften refferred to as Megatron's Cybertronian design that we see in the first episode of Beast wars is actually just a reused asset from Reboot's "Nullzilla" episode. Namely their power rangers Megazord parody, just repainted and with Megatron's head slapped on it.

@ComodinCam if you're looking for the MP season 1 Megatron, I strongly urge you to check out the KO. It's half the price & they actually fixed some of the issues from the official. Just to have one, I'd recommend it if you're not compelled to be a "purest" collector. I needed one on my shelf, the other wasn't available, I got what I could & I'm very satisfied with it in all areas.

@ David Kaye I've been very blessed to have gotten all the MP scale MEGATRON figures. The Beast Wars are by far my favorites. If you're looking for the most beautiful representation of each of the 3, you've already gotten the Takara Masterpiece from season 1. Check out the Trans-Art BWM-06 Transmetal Megatron & the Jiangxing JX-MB-01 Transmetal 2 Megatron. These are a little pricey, but they are absolutely, hands down, the most beautiful toys in my collection. I can look at them & hear YOU berating me for them being in a glass prison. Lol I'm 50, I came up with G1 & I've watched Beast Wars more times from beginning to end than any other series. Y'all had the best talent & this show will be around for many years to come.

Personally MY favorite version of BW Megatron is Transmetal II. He just looks so awesome in his dragon mode and I Really HOPE I find the legacy toy at some point in SOME Sort of store or convention. if all else fails, I will get him online (Not as fun as picking him up in a store though, no.) I really HOPE Hasbro comes out with the Cryotek coloration of Transmetal II megatron, they did so many other obscure colorations, why not Cryotek? :D

I hope you were able to show David Kaye the Armada essay videos you did about The Dark Dilemma of Optimus Prime and Megatron and The Anime that Made Starscream a Tragic Autobot and Decepitcon to show him the impact the Unicron Trilogy has influenced and is well loved by fans as well. He always tends to gravitate more toward BW/BM Megatron and Animated Optimus Prime, and I hope that he knows that his Unicron Trilogy Megatron, particularly the Armada version, is iconic as well.

I Truly Hated Transformers War For Cybertron Trilogy Predacon Megatron he Truly was just Transformers War For Cybertron Trilogy’s Megatron’s Sycophant and Marqus Bobesich was Truly a Disgrace to David Kaye’s Legacy in The Transformers Franchise. Since The Maximals got a Chance to appear in Live Action I’m hoping he Appears one day in Live and when they do they better bring him back to his Original Roots. What comic was that comic design of Megatron is from?

Design wise, I feel the purple T-Rex is the best design. I don’t like the Transmetal version, it looks like someone took parts from different toys and just glued them together. The dragon form is nice, but you never get Megatron “interacting” with the head like you do in the original Beast Wars series…. He doesn’t talk to it, brush it’s teeth, etc… or maybe I didn’t like that season so much that I completely missed any interactions like that.
