Honestly I’m just happy the brand has such a variety of branding styles and placements. Something for everyone really. Some are harder to get now but they are out there. Dope vid per usual!

Good video TJ. I've been thinking about this same subject too. Personally, I thought the shift in 2019 was great, with the addition of 3M and branding moved on the sweatpants. Since then I haven't really gotten into anything other than the sage hoodie from the 2020 collection. I've passed on all the drops, including this one other than I might pick up a pair of the Greige California's.

Thank you Tyler. The embroidered choice with 3M was the best overall for me and might always be. California's are a great daily pair.

Today’s drop was insane. Picked up a ton of pieces and will probably get more. Definitely need to get them slides in coral and egg shell.

19-20 are definitely my favorites, I’m not a huge fan of the block lettering but some of the new pieces are on my list for sure

‘21 was my favorite year imo. I really like the writing on the back with the small fear of god beneath it. Minimal and timeless. I have not tried much of the core collection yet from 2022, but they also have the back logo but just flocked instead. I will try some of their stuff maybe. But i honestly have enough essentials for now. So i may just add a pair of long sweats from the 2022 core collection and call it a day

You're not alone feeling you have a full and solid collection already built, many have expressed that in the comments lately. And I loved 2021 and like the Core Collection from 2021 as well

My personal favorite years are most definitely 2022 and 2021 Number one being 2022. I love the Fear Of God branding as it gives it more character in my opinion. Not too mention the style has a lot more creative designs on the clothing itself. Very creative for a everyday essentials type of clothing. I do like the old styles but it can get repetitive so I appreciate the new designs. Has more character in my opinion.

I imagine he updated the range of options and possibly branding to appeal to another consumer he had not before in this way and it seems to be working!

I owned pieces from 2018 to current 2022 as well! My own ranking as follows: 1. 2019 - 3M was introduced together with embroidery branding and some very dope colors like Blush, Baby Blue, Lemonade, Black Link, Twill and Olive. 2019 is also the year which we have the photo series collection by Shaniqwa Jarvis, collab with Nipsey’s TMC and Complexcon exclusive Long Beach Gold, Los Angeles pieces. 2. 2018 - Graphic branding which my favorite colors are Burgundy, Green, Red, Yellow and Side Stripe Sweatpants in Gray. There is also Complexcon exclusive Mint color and Converse collab. 3. 2020 - When the hype started with Rubber silicon branding on the front which there are more earth tones colors dropped. Fav colors are Cement, Oatmeal, Alfalfa Sage, Taupe and Ssense exclusive Raindrum. 4. 2021 - Fav colors are Amber, Pistachio and Pebble. 2022 may overtake 2021 with that Iron, Mr Porter exclusive and Coral colorways.

Hi TJ, can i get your thoughts on the 2018 collection? were these pieces simply super limited? because i noticed that the mesh shorts can barely even be found on stockX and GOAT. It's pretty strange there are nobody reselling them. so i am really curious on the value of them. I've seen some of the mesh shorts being sold second hand on my local trading app and they were only going for 65SGD. It seemed pretty suspicious to me that an item so rare would be selling that low so i also question it's authenticity. So im curious on your thoughts in regards to the rarity of this collection. Thanks!

I think it depends on where you may be but I don't know if it's that they were so limited or people realize he will probably never drop something in that basic design again. For that reason and the pieces being more timeless than what is often dropped today, they hold on to them. You can find some authentic pieces for decent prices, if people simply want things gone. I haven't broken the bank on any of mine, but it took patience.

How do you feel about the 2022 Knit polo sweaters? Def have to size down, but the oak and seafoam are my faves along with the short sleeve sweatshirts. #staples

I don't own any of the polo items, I just don't prefer that style. I have the knit pieces, raw edge and hooded knits and love those.

Actually Collection One for FOG Essentials came out in 2015-2016. Those hoodies and sweats had the side zips and zero branding. I have a few of those they were my favorite. There are some really dope side zip flannels as well in that collection.

The every early drops with zero branding at all are still in my closet from reach backs, but many don't care much for the zippered items any longer. I still rock them.

The fit and drape/taper of items together makes it better for me than other options. And I'm still split on 2022 because so much of it is exactly what I want.

Price is up on everything, and going up, even Plastic Panda dunks. Mixed reviews on this drop I've seen
