I mean they don’t care that we have the highest medium income in the nation, a low unemployment rate, Both mountains and beaches, etc., not to mention the county with top predominantly black county with the highest income. As someone who lives in Missouri I completely agree about the weather here. It’s just a weird state and is so unpredictable. We had snow in November and just recently had a week long stretch of 60 degree weather in late December.

Camden even though is bad does not even make the FBI's top 100 cities by homicide. My friend from Nevada had a similar view until he came out here and I showed him how you can go from farmlands to city and he now loves being here.

You can kinda tell what this guy’s political bias is. Using politics as a major criterion for judging quality of life detracts from the credibility of the whole thing.

You know, I have always enjoyed most of your video's, until this one. I am so sick of politics getting into every aspect our lives, it's quite fatiguing anymore. Hey, I’m actually from Chicago and live in Columbus, OH. I really enjoy Ohio. The people here are just great, we’re like a huge family here. The cost of living is pretty low, health care is excellent as well as the median housing price. The landscape is beautiful and the weather is...let’s say diverse. I think Ohio is underrated and it’s great to live here.

. I’ve been to all fifty but living in Canada (dual citizen) so I’m not really put off by cold winters like people from California are. If you look at lists of best and happiest countries worldwide and the top spots are always filled with countries that have cold winters like Norway, Sweden, Finland and Canada (not Russia HaHa) therefore personally I don’t think Alaska belongs so high on your list. I have only seen first seven so I haven’t seen your ranking of places like Minnesota or Wisconsin which I like and I imagine that you’ll rank them lower than I would based on their winters. However except for Ak, I absolutely agree with your list to the point that to the extent that before you named each one I’ve thought of which state I’d name and my list would be identical to yours. Good job!

You are the ones making inferences to conservatives being the culprit. Have you not watched his other videos? He always throws in little factoids here and there many of which have nothing to do with being a bad or good state. I mean he mentioned Hoosiers and how we didn't know what it meant as a factoid for my old residence of Indiana and you don't see me throwing a fit a out it. Maybe the problem is in how you are taking things...

Being from Ohio I can confirm... we cuss a lot and I had to take weekly allergy shots from the age of 5 until I was in the 10th grade my allergies were so bad... I think Ohio is a top half state though. We are a very wealthy state GDP-wise (equivalent to Switzerland), rarely have any natural disasters, decent weather for 9 months of the year if you don’t live on Lake Erie, and we have a lot of attractions. For sure a better state than Iowa and Indiana

I don’t get why being a “Conservative” is such a bad thing. I am definitely on the “Right,” but I am not racist/sexist/any other thing like that. Because I am a Christian, I believe that homosexuality and abortion are both morally wrong, HOWEVER, I am not going to stop people from doing what they choose to do. It is America, and people have the “right” to do what they wish (for the most part). I disagree with it, but I do so politely. When it comes to “Illegal Immigrants,” I am against it. I am FOR immigration, but it needs to be LEGAL. I would be willing to loosen up some of our restrictions to make it a little bit easier on people who TRULY want to become AMERICANS though, especially considering some of the knowledge tests that people are supposed to pass are above and beyond what the average (stupid) American “knows.” However, California (Los Angeles and other major cities) is flooded with homeless people. This is rampant across much of the United States. I do believe that we have an obligation to focus first on our poor and homeless before opening up the doors and bringing in more people than we can reasonably handle. If we get our homeless problem fixed and our drug problem fixed, then I would love to bring in more people. The thing is, they need to be quality people who are coming to WORK and HELP our society become better. It’s not about race or religion or gender/sex/sexual orientation, or anything else. It’s about becoming a good American. I really don’t see the big deal. I understand that there are some dumbasses on the right. Sadly. But it is wrong to cluster me into that group. I don’t walk around barefoot with a rebel flag hat and a big gun with a piece of straw sticking out of my mouth. I don’t even own a gun. I am not against guns, I was an MP in the Army for six years. I just don’t feel like I need one. I can protect myself without that, easily. Anyways, I just don’t think that all conservative places are “bad.” I also don’t think that all “Liberal/Progressive/Democrat/Leftist” places are “good.” There is good AND bad in all groups of people. Stereotyping is wrong.

Lodge Architect I read ur entire comment and there was nothing that I could disagree with. I’m from San Francisco which is predominantly democratic. The democratic governors of sf have brought in illegal immigrants, has den nothing with the homeless problems, gangs, street filth (needle, drugs, human feces). Good news though, the new mayor of San Francisco is a conservative, who is African American and has experienced poverty and violence, like me.
