All Kenshi needs to be manageable is for Sento to go away when they get hit on block imo. That's it. The pressure and chip he gets for no risk whatsoever while also rendering you unable to even poke is just too goddamn much.

I play Havik and I tend to really struggle against Smoke and sometimes Scorpions lol 😆.

you unlock the other variants by going back to the other maps and using the item you unlock from beating the final boss at all those gates. You then unlock them from beating the nodes.

Diff something that you can do that I like to do as scorpion is when you’re kinda close to the opponent you can use back 2 and go into 2-1 essentially making yourself wiff but the recovery time is so quick it it catches everyone off guard. If you’d like I can post a video on my channel so I can show you an example !

What they need to do is make sinto run out twice as fast when it's on one knee, and make his amp sinto call out 2 bars but make him also be able to combo from his base mode into it with everything except his launcher and knock down

It's also helps make him not need a cameo at all. That takes away one less problem that nether room needs to fix and allows them to focus on every one else

Not a good comparison imo. Fujin would basically break neutral with skywaka, he could punish from almost full screen and had a low that would cover a lot of ground. Kenshi is not like that

Watching all my MK KZreadrs not grinding invasions in any form and missing out on so many skins, I know it’s grindy but still :(

You really need to either play matches against a good kenshi to learn or lab (I’m on box if you wanna brawl a bit I have some good pointers) but your making mistakes that are so fixable 😂

F*** Kenshi, at first I was raginf a Jhonny Cage, but when you know the matchup he's fair, BUT KENSHI F THAT GUY.

Maybe you could nerf kenshi by stealing sento the ability to break armor then you could armor through the pressure and take your turn

Kenshi and Johnny is Top 2 in this game and its not even close

Kensi players: I can bring in a third character for one bar!! Havik players: my no armor extremely punishable grab costs 2 bars….(I am havik player)

Not the same thing. Storm cell into kameo nets a near 40% combo if cell hit and kameo picks him up. Scorp can't get that due to his spins knock down.

you need to use armor against Kenshi my man. Kenshi's sento double swipe has a gap for example. you can armour between those swipes or right after Sento attacks

As a kenshi player, personally im going to be pissed if he gets nerfed, i can agree maybe the ghost timer can be decreased a little, but he takes a lot of effort to learn and memorize, i think hes great as he is now

Most scorpions that are good just turtle up until an opening.... Im an alright slightly above average reptile main but reptile is super punishable.. I never hit no crazy 40% + combos but the fact i been elder god w 30% and less imo w reptile and usually dont play safe 🤣🤣 anyways scorpion gets a free full screen punish. And if im too far and try and death roll punish scorpion for the chain toss well I get full screen combo punished... The most you can punish scorpion against is his teleport... And maybe his armored mid but I cant remember too well... Most scorpions I see either are really good w bro and timing or wanna cheese full screen .

Diff complains a lot about Kenshi but the way he just 2-1 that Kenshi makes his complaints seem less like real character design flaws and more like a 'get gud' situation to me. Of course, Diff is more knowledgeable about the game's technical aspects than me but that gameplay did not make Kenshi seem like the busted unbeatable character Diff's complaints make him out to be. Somebody has to be in the top 1 of characters and there will always be people who complain

I honestly think if they made Kenshi's ghost go away when hit (hit to kenshi, not the ghost by itself, it can still do the kneeling thing), it will balance him out the best. He can still keep massive damage and block pressure going but at least he'd be doing it at a risk.

Hey diff, great video as usual! I agree to disagree, but I want to share some thoughts as a kenshi player. Honestly, scorp gives me hard times. Kenshi really sucks at zoning: yes, his projectile is overhead but there is almost no trading with kenshi because if scorpion's spear hits first, his demon drop disappears. Yes, he has subzero's ice armor, but they really don't do much. You have the sweep, the hell fire and jump teleport. Ice armor doesn't last long and any hit will remove it. In reality, for kenshi to get close to scorpion, it's all walk and crouch block, duck isn't even an option because of the sweep and hell fire. The main point is, kenshi cannot trade projectile with scorpion, unlike liukang, if fireball trading with spear will just do raw damage to both characters, but kenshi will get full combo-ed by scorpion. In reality, I agree it's not fun to play against kenshi, but it's also not fun against scorpion as well. From my POV, all scorp players just do back jump, spear, sweep, hell fire, poke into swing, it's boring as hell to play against. This could not true, but it's also just what I feel like. You feel like all kenshi do is touch you and summon sento and infinite block stun. But we kenshi player spends soooo much effort just trying to land a hit and make sure our combo don't drop. It really takes skills. Kenshi being without a good projectile, when facing against scorp, is just a slow moving target. From your round with kenshi, you can see his struggle to get close. I don't feel that kenshi is terribly balanced. He got plenty of weakness that can be exploited. Just a piece of mind, feel free to disagree.

What a dumb take, scorpion is extremely limited in everything. Kenshi is absolutely broken and doesnt really have a “bad” matchup. When sentos out hes out for 15 whole seconds, you can exploit it by whiff grabbing, huge amount of chip, usable kameo on top of sento, dumbass overhead that looks like a mid/low that ALWAYS catches mfs off guard bc of the animation, great damage, like literally kenshi has everything PLUS more, except for projectiles which are easily avoidable Youre playing top 3 and making these bad takes buddy, dont be a scrub please Kenshi has the least amount of weaknesses 🤷‍♂️ especially with stryker lmao come on man

Seeing you complain about Kenshi is funny to me Kenshi is a high execution character bro you really think there gonna nerf him are you crazy any high execution character deserves to be top tier cus not everyone is playing him only people who master him would play as him I'm not a fan of nerfing characters into the ground its not like there giving him any buffs he's already strong enough as is Kenshi is probably gonna be the same throughout the entire lifespan of this game

What if, nrs nerf Kenshi this way: Sento is now USABLE by holding Kameo, u can’t use Kameo while Sento is out, obviously and Sento now cost 2 bars. This way Kenshis actually need to think “do i block o keep pressuring”
