I agree strongly on the "predicted rank" on the last match. But I also think it's kinda silly to have it at all after any of the placement matches. Like, there's an algorithm to calculate your rank and your changes in ranks, and that algorithm is applied every match. So, how do they calculate the prediction? If it's the same algorithm, it's not really a prediction and it's just your actual real rank. If it's a different algorithm, what's different about it and why would they make two different algorithms to calculate your rank?

For the random nano on Genji in the Junkertown game at 1:51:23 , that was his only Japanese voiceline when he receives nano. Coal is seemingly much more supportive now, you could carry on your own with it before (which might still be doable now, just not as often), but now it should be used when your team makes a play and needs your help (such as coal blade, which also applies the healing debuff allowing for moira to do more damage), as a tempo ult (like valk) or selfishly (like rally). Flank coal is still the best version of coal imo, since you can chip damage while healing your team. Moira wont be the one who gets the kill but the team pushing in will be able to finish them off. Plus the healing is still pretty good

The DPS Passive is really effective which is why i think Moira feels off. Not over powered, but strong on certain heroes (i.e Soldier, Sojourn) especially with Mercy. So some numbres def need tuning

Usually Moira’s orbs decrease in size the more they damage/heal someone but for some reason that doesn’t apply to the mythic skin. Don’t know if that’s a glitch or if that’s intentional.

The only thing I don’t like about the healing sound is it kinda sounds like the music that plays when the payload is nearing the final checkpoint. Confuses me a little.

her self sustain feels a bit worse compared to last patch, wonder if they’re gonna buff that as well

it's funny hearing your thoughts on Moira in this season, she's actually very good. my partner was Sombra and doing the usual Sombra things and picking off the supports. But she was like, uhhhh I can't kill this Moira now, I can usually melt them fast. As long as you are healing, like with your orb, you will not die so fast

Top ranked players don't miss with the hitbox changes and combined with the DPS passive, you can't sustain yourself. In the lower ranks you're probably able to, it would just be a little harder than before.

Still, I've seen a lot of Moira players 2v1 others and not die. Sure this season you need to change your playstyle, I get that. But man, Moira is mean this season. Like, I've seen a POTG of a Moira player yesterday that 3v1 a tracer, Soldier, and a Bap, and crushed them all. As long as Moira is healing, whether herself or others, she isn't dying lol Her and Lucio are pretty much a third DPS now@@ArxUK

After my 19 placement games i definitely feel like its hardwr to really impact the game as Moira. I got moat damage and moat heals in several games that i lost with like a 10-1 KD. So i was playing good but i couldn't outright win fights anymore, even with my ult, and i couldnt keep my tank alive at all. It always just seemed like a big long fight until someone gets bored and does something stupid to lose the fight. Just couldn't figure out how to have an impact because i couldnt just assassinate someone quick most of the time.

has anyone experience the tracer meta rn? seems like people found out that tracer pretty much dominates in season 9 because her TTK on healers is almost in the blink of an eye. healers cannot sustain themselves like they use too before against a dps like tracer as their heals are reduced now. every game i played so far has a tracer pick over what was normally a genji now, so i guess we'll be seeing a tracer meta going forward. shes just so damn strong with the current debuff that she can apply to healers, that its not enjoyable playing as a support class now.

not liking this video is a crime. my man spent like 80£ just to show us this skin 😍

Yea playing moria now is like an out of body experience when it comes to duels even though the patch is really new, it was kind of instincive when im playing mercy and my moria ults i just dammage boost, cuz playing her already feels really off.

How much was everything to unlock the mythic this early?

Yup. Wouldn't recommend doing, the battle pass completes quick, but I'm a streamer / content creator, so it kind of pays for itself.

The game feels weird, constantly taking damage but surviving it. Some characters just feel overpowered with that slight health boost like reaper is very hard to kill especially since dps can heal overtime. I feel with this health boost a damage boost will come to a few characters.

It kind of feels like they have made 'dps' playmaking support worse because the game is now balancedaround the dps passive being active so trying to duel and playmake as a support feels useless but also the dps passive makes healing mid fight feels completely futile. They really don't know what they want supports to do.

Yeah, I was struggling as moira bc of not being able to get kills and not being able to sustain the tank. So I swapped to lucio figuring its just better to do a bit of aoe healing and just outlast in fights and I instantly won 2 games. I think moira will be a situational pick for me now.

Moira's ult needs to be buffed, now a days you can just heal through it.

After watching your stream, I think I may switch my skins between demon queen, blackwatch and caller frequently, if they ever fix the customization bug Also coming from Paladins, I would understand the anti heal's impact on healing output during combat, but I cannot wrap myself on why only dps have the passive. And to see that they buffed moira dmg but not the ult dmg is just poor consideration for balancing. And they really REALLY need to add an indication for the anti heal effect and duratiuon. It is especially useful for supports to know when they are using more resource healing ppl or not during fight. Paladins has a clear visual effect on the character to indicate whether they are being affected by anti heal, which is really useful for timing the heal.

You actually have to dps as Moira? I'm looking et you first game score, 21k damage...so it's liké you Can heal (liké thé other Moira), but taking advantge of high spots and secondary fire is bettee. Noted.

I have my doubts. If you watch a replay of Cosmic Crisis and switch to another player, the voice is the same as the regular Moira. Maybe it's just due to this event, but if not...... Well, this is very disappointing. In my opinion, this is one of the best mythic skins out there.

Hearing a support character complain that they can't tank. It seems like such a stupid complaint. Just take cover more often (I am also a Moira main.) I don't think I'm as good as you though at all, so can someone explain why that complaint would even be valid.

Moira does not have utility like other supports. Her raw stats are equal to some other supports that also have utility. Moira's 'utility' comes from her sustain which means her ability to survive, contest, pressure and tank. The complaint is similar to if Brig had her shield significantly weakened, it's part of her effective identity, at least... if you play her properly.

@@ArxUK I guess that is something I would have to think on while im playing the game, it didn't seem like a problem for me so far in placements. (For context I'm only gold 5) but I'm able to get away with more mistakes and stupid plays due to my rank. I guess for climbing and being in higher ranks do you think being more passive and making risky flanking plays less often and for shorter periods of time is less viable, than just full on dps flanking moira? Or is it really just the idea that now she's basically the lowest tier as a support due to lack utility that is the chief complaint.

@@luigi4037 Yeah, something like that seems like that would be viable IMO too. I think the issue is trying to force DPS moira. I mean you could even finish off enemies that are about to die but escaping, and fade out instead of taking straight on 1v1s.

@@HyperNovington Yeah, I'm getting that. I generally feel like even though she's not as good as she used to be as a support due to dps passive, she MAY not be unplayable. But I'm only basing that on my placements thus far. But I do also know ranks, skill gap and of course people getting used to how the game is now will all be a factor overtime as well.
