Irregardless of this finding of an AVM;. had Raniya not been in a chokehold and repeatedly punched in her head she would still be here. Continued headaches would've eventually prompted some concerned doctor to order an MRI. So to dismiss the bullying and the beating she suffered is a disgrace and and insult to Raniya and her family!

Also, her mother took her to the Dr 7 different times for headaches and dizziness 1 of those being 13 days prior to her death for headaches and dizziness. That dr should have referred her to a neurologist. I'm sorry but if my child was having headaches and dizziness for 2 straight years I would have been demanding a neurologist ASAP! There was complete negligence from the dr her mother kept taking her to.

But I think that someone should still be held accountable because of the trauma to her head possibly rupturing her aneurysm but to call and aneurysm fight or no fight a natural cause of death is a little bit ridiculous to me

A police officer was in pursuit of some kids and he kneeled over and had a heart attack. The boys he was chasing were about 18 to 20 years old and they were charged. Even though they didn't make him have a heart attack they were still charged as participating in that heart attack. Wouldn't the girl still be charged in this situation?

Just read the report; several points: 1) Why didn't Raniya ever have an MRI for her headaches in the past? An MRI would've showed the AVM. So here's a potential medical malpractice. 2) Ashley's description of the fight contradicts the news reports. 3) Seems like more than coincidence the AVM ruptured soon after the fight, 4) If no charges are being filed, and the bully is innocent, why was the bully transferred to an alternative learning school? 5) If your child is being bullied, don't depend on the teachers to do anything. THEY CAN'T. Teachers can't be bodyguarding every single student every minute of the day. Instead, enroll your child in MARTIAL ARTS, dammit. Karate teaches self-defense but also teaches kids how to stop a fight before it seven starts. Wake up, parents.

It probably was natural causes from the aneurysm bursting, but it probably wouldn't have happened until she was older. The constant daily stress from being bullied sped it up. The blood pressure was elevated by the fear and anxiety. My heart goes out to her family. I pray they are ok and that the school suspends the girls bullying her, all of them. This is horrific and disgraceful for girls to be beating up an innocent girl who didn't want to fight. I've seen girls that age fighting and it's vicious. I hope the girls seek the Lord Jesus for forgiveness and I pray they repent and stop the violence. Kids just want peace when they go to school. If they don't realize they played a part, they may have not been totally responsible, but they were a factor. They have some guilt to carry, no doubt. Bullies have no place in school. Especially when she told her mom it was the same girl bullying her in school. My heart breaks for her mom. This tragedy hasn't even hit her yet. The loss of her daughter will never stop hurting her heart. She's always going to think she wished she did something to help her daughter. Even though there wasn't anything she could have done. Pray for her mom and grandma and younger sibling. I'm truly sorry this happened to her daughter. No one can ever know unless they lose a child. There's always something you wish you said, or didn't say, wish you did, didn't do. You always include her in the family, she would love this she never liked this, you know. It's so horrible and crazy how everything that happens makes you sad. You just pray that they are at peace. Lord have mercy and grace. Jesus is the only one who can help your heart. I will pray for them, even the bully.

Maybe she would have passed eventually however, I have to wonder if things had progressed normally would the parents have eventually found her condition? Would surgery have helped? Or was she "helped" to her grave quicker by a sudden spike in pressure, through head-lock, slamming & punching in her head? If you have a tumor in your head prior to a fight and someone hits you on the head consistently you are going to suffer from the blows or death in this case. This is common sense. Cover up. That was not a fight, it was an unprovoked attack. This was homicide (voluntary manslaughter) If things in the classroom were orderly enough for a student to start a routine approach to the teacher and is suddenly jumped, the teacher may not be to blame. Administrators are often more interested in covering each other than they are in dealing with truth vs injustice. The attacker should be removed from normal school environments, her "least restrictive environment" would be a heavily secured locked unit. What a tragic shame.

If there was foul play, Authorities are so fortunate, that this little girl Visited the hospital a few times for headaches, prior to this incident, which allows then to use that to say she had a brain aneurysm for justification for the foul play. That's why they always do a th Irough investigation, especially on the victim background, so that they can use something from the victims pass to justify there foul play. You notice how transparent they are about the hospital headache visits. I have a family member & a close friend who died from a brain aneurysm, its funny how I've never remember neither one of them complaining about headaches or visited a hospital for headaches prior to passing away.

I have migraines so debilitating I can’t work. There are no tests (MRI/CT scan, etc. are normal) to show this…My mom developed migraines in her 60s...Her MRI indicated Two aneurysms. She had brain surgery to have them clipped to prevent rupture & and Has to monitor. They’re nothing anybody would notice which is terrifying. The migraines continued after the aneurysms were clipped… So they were not related but it was a nice coincidence that we figured it out that she had them. That poor 10-year-old baby would’ve probably lived a full life & been able to die of natural causes in old age, if she wasn’t beaten in school.

Raniya was killed by a bully! I paused a video I watched earlier about her and read the police report from students in her class. It said something about a gray box falling on her head, her head hitting a shelf and the bully put her in a choke hold while repeatedly hitting her in the head. She was probably walking to the teacher "like she had a question" because she felt like something was wrong, she knew something was happening and the bully came up and started hitting her from behind. Even if she had a underlining health issue no one knew of, the blows to her head probably ruptured it, the preventing her to speak to the teacher delayed her getting help. The bully was the reason for all of that. The school should have separated them after the first year when Raniya's mom called several times about the same girl. They should have never been in a class together after the repeated problems the first year.

She obviously wasn't ok..she had an undiagnosed prexisting condition..the fight may have contributed to the anyurism, just as if she had tripped and banged her head ect. You see fights between kids posted on Y/T constantly, they don't usually end up in an aneurysm ..the other child obviously had no INTENTION to kill anyone (I assume the child was a similar age).

Ann Mitchell I have had migraines headaches dizziness nausea for over 40 years!!!!! I'm sure if someone hit me or I hit my heard. I could die!!!!!!! But still the assault lead to her death point blank period. She is dead end result weather she meant it or not. My 3 year old grand nephew died the same way a beating that people want to say should not have ended in death.....

After years of being bullied by this other girl and possibly being hit in the head by this girl over years caused the aneurysm. This other girl needs help and I hope the school takes action.

The way it was handled is enough reason to remove my child from the school, if I had one enrolled. Nothing but confusion going on there, as far as I can see!!! The fight was contributory. It was pivotal in the situation. To dismiss it is criminal👎👎👎 I feel it is like saying, " Oh, the fight, it's nothing. She was going to die anyway(that day); because of the condition. Hold on, wait a minute; common sense won't allow me to believe such👎👎👎

White or black no child deserves to be beaten to death. All children are precious. The bully needs to be held accountable. I was raised to love not to see color. Love has no color. My best friend in high school was black. I lived in a little country po dunk town in the south. I got bullied every day because my sister was black. Here we are 2019 and we are still being racist. Love people for what's inside their heart. Not the color of skin. RIP sweet angel.

This mother needs to Investigate the cause of death through another entity and get a second opinion. I would not believe anything that they have to say because again they are covering up for the district. You cannot tell me that the fight that she had did not instigate the symptoms of this thing happening when it did which would still be the responsibility of the school district.

How strange, a 13 year old girl just died a few days ago of a similar situation. According to the news, she was jumped on by another girl that punched and kicked her in the head repeatedly right outside the school premises. The little girl did not want to fight. She suffered severe headache after the altercation. she was later taken to the hospital where she died and was told she had a tumor that the mother was not aware of that could have possibly caused her death. The Mother Did not witness the video of her daughter being beaten until later. This is sad, how many more children have to die before something is done about this. Bulling is very serious, kids should not have to go to school in fear, Or committing suicide. By officials in charge not admitting the truth in order to protect themselves, No actions are being done to resolve the problem. Therefore problem remains and will get worse. My prayers goes out to all families involved in this tragedy. I feel your pain.

One would have to ask WHY, after 7 visits to a medical facility because of headaches, was Raniya not diagnosed with this anurysm? It seems preposterous medical examiner would claim the physical exertion, blows she received during the physical violence in her classroom had nothing to do with the anurysm.

How can they have been so sure that as with any other strokes / ruptures elevated bp can initiate the brain injury. The fact that the family was completely shut out of all information from the child leaving the school via EMS to the child being air lifted to another hospital. What was so hard with contacting at least one of the parents as things were happening. To me, if the city/ county protect the school district, protect the school, protect the other student involved in the "fight". They potentially stop the family from any lawsuits that may come about. This could have started at the state level it seems like someone "important" got in front of this thing to make go away as fast as possible. It's sad that they weren't more concerned with a beautiful life stolen with no true explanation. 😭😭😭
