After going down 3 goals, the New York Rangers stormed back and burned the midnight Oil in Edmonton, beating the Oilers in a shootout. Chris Kreider would score two goals (SHG and PPG), Alexis Lafreniere and Mika Zibanejad would push to tie the game in the third and Kaapo Kakko, along with Lafreniere, scoring in the shootout, the latter netting the game winner to seal the deal! This brings the Rangers win streak after this game to seven! Here is the MSG Network feed with Sam Rosen and Joe Micheletti with the call. This includes all goals scored plus the two late penalties that led to the game tying PPG.

He's the Michael Kay of Yankees of Hockey for Rangers lmao. Sam is awesome broadcaster Holy damn. Those two and Gary Cohen I can listen all day long for Yankees, Rangers and Mets. Even Mike Breen with Knicks 😅. NY is blessed to have great sports commentators and broadcasters with amazing sports channel networks.

Growing up in the era of wayne gretzky pavel bure teenu salani ty domi mike rickter mario lameux mark messier. I can honestly say hockey has been n still is one of the most action packed sports and amazing to watch in person aswell as on tv! In my eyes the best sport! This rangers comeback was beautiful!!! I rember watching this game. I was about to stop watching when it was 4-1 Edmonton but for some reason I didn’t stop something was telling me not to and sure enough one of the best comebacks in rangers history happened

@@RoughRaiders13 I've bled blue since 1975. Long before OT and shoot out. 4 seasons with just OT no shootout. I miss the days of each team getting I point after 60 minutes.
