As a Celtic fan i've got to admit that this was the best show by any player that ive seen in Scotland.His 1st was with his right foot his 2nd was with his left foot and even his penalty was clinical..What a player!!!

I remember Henriks 1st game for Celtic when at 'right midfield' he tried a back-pass which got intercepted and they scored and some fans boo'd him.He became King of Kings when someone noticed that he could be a striker And the rest is history.As they say 'Simply the best'+He did it it for Barca and Man U when he left (as you'll know) ......

I'm 33 years old now, but was 16 at the time of this. Looking back, it's unbelievable to think Paul Gascoigne played for Rangers. The thing that a lot of people, especially down south, underestimate is that Rangers bringing Gascoigne back from Italy and getting him back to full fitness gave England back 'the old Gazza' at Euro 96 weeks after this. It would be nice if the English ever acknowledge that Rangers & Scottish football brought Gascoigne back to his best after years in Italian exile.

Great player but should have tested himself against better players . These Aberdeen players are shyte . This wasn't the worst team by far . Gasgoigne too good for Scottish football . He should have went to Spain .

The hairs are going up on the back of my neck watching this,not even a rangers fan or any team fan,i just can't help appreciating pure talent when i see it,pure magic!! It's the way he keeps his balance when surrounded by people and running past them.

From a West Ham man I felt privileged to be there that day.

This is back when football was football. Look at the proper tackles going in from McCall, and also look at the Aberdeen defenders trying to keep up with Gazza but he beat them fair and square. Nowadays someone would simply foul him and take the yellow card.

I will always remember the day he signed ...: I was working in goven , and was sent to get the lunch order from the burger van .... on my way back I was nearly wiped out by a 4x4 as went to cross the road , I ran back , soup and tea everywhere and puffing like an asthmatic , the guys were say “the fuck is up with you”? I said guess who’s signing for Rangers ! They said who ? I replied Gazza and they all started laughing, just at that point there was an announcement on radio Clyde in the van .... breaking news paul gasgoine is being paraded at ibrox as the latest signing for rangers ! Still can’t believe we had him as a player , like I still can’t believe we had the De Bore’s and now Defoe 55 is coming ...... geez it , WATP 🏆

I just wished Gazza had came back to Newcastle. Andy Cole and Gazza are the reason loved football an fact it was these that my grandad took me to watch them

The thing is about gazza and lazio back in 1992 , italian league at that time was the best league in the world better than our EPL and your SPL, so you can forgive him for playing with the best players and the money. Gazza took the piss in Italy he was over weight, drank a lot and the italian defenders battered him and even broke his leg. He of course fell out of favour with the coaches at lazio the time of his departure, i respect rangers for getting him back to his best in time for euro 1996.

Whatever team you support Gaza was a fantastic player to get have in Scottish football, not many players of that skill have graced Scottish football, for balance Henrik Larsson is another one of those players for me! Probably never see players of that quality in Scottish clubs ever again!
