We all need to say extra prayers for Randy right now , he needs all the prayers that he can get!!

when I was 14 I started hitting the bottle stealing whiskey from the cabinet and I heard my Mama saying her prayers the night she found out I knew I had to straighten up then a few months later my brother had a tragic accident while out shooting his 12gauge shotgun malfunctioned and went off shooting him in the hand he could have bled out on the way to the hospital but Mama prayed for him and he survived and from that day on I understood that when Mama prays good things happen

I remember the first time I heard this song. Touched by an angel, and til this day it still makes me cry, fact is I'm trying to write this through my tears now because I can still picture that episode of Touched by an angel which also brought on the water works. I read in another posting that Randy had a stroke. I pray he is doing well.

Saw this episode this morning 8/11/2020. My grandson is in Marine Corp, 18 years old, and this touched my heart. He texts me in the early morning, and I pray for his challenges, he has met and exceeded every one, not always on the first try, but he was taught to pray when I raised him and he knows Nanny is always praying. God is so good, ALL the time.

It’s 2022 and I just lost my mama the day after thanksgiving, November 26, 2021. Life isn’t the same without her here. My mama is the one who always talked to me about how to pray. Her prayers (along with my own) got me through a lot of heavy situations. Thank You, Randy Travis for writing such an AWESOME tribute to your mother! It helps us to remember our own mamas that have prayed for us, nurtured and sustained us until we got our lives together! I’m in tears right now! This one’s for you Mama! I knew when momma prayed because the good Lord answered by sending me a women who I would marry and have a son and a daughter and straighten me up. I soon found out there more to life then the bottle
