There were several ash trays scattered around my grandparents house. They didn't smoke but my aunt, who lived there did. So did lots of other family members. We had the beige wall phone that hung just inside the kitchen doorway. There was a brown push button desk phone that sat on my dads huge roll top desk. I wasn't allowed to have a phone in my room. Lisa Frank was/is my favorite! I loved all things Lisa Frank! Every classroom had that pencil sharpener. We could only use it before class started. We had chip clips rattling around in the kitchen junk drawer. I don't remember what they looked like though. We had the dixie cups and holder. Ours was plain with flowered cups. My parents still have it and use it! My friend across the street collected Highlights Magazine. She had years of them in her tiny closet all organized beautifully in chronological order. We'd look at them for hours. Many years later my grandma ordered them for my kids. Now, many more years later, I order them for my grandkids. I also ordered Ranger Rick for them. They have a good grow with your child type magazine line. I enjoy the hidden pictures page, lol.

​@@TheCassettePhaseit's a good one for the kiddos. Garfield funny papers. The only part of the newspaper I liked as a kid! It was good for silly putty too. Mash the putty over the picture you wanted and how cool was it that the picture then showed up on the flattened part of the silly putty.

Very cool, I remember my Grandma subscribed to highlights for me. Also there was one she got me that was called something like my big backyard or something like that, it was all about nature and animals and stuff like that. Definitely remember those stickers and the find the stuff pictures. I haven't thought about any of that stuff for years, thanks for reminding me of the nice memory of my Grandma who has been gone for 10 years or so. Also cool channel, this was the first video I watched, I will watch the rest now.

Could You possibly do an episode on 80's SCENTED ITEMS? Like everything in the 80's was EITHER SCENTED, OR LIT-UP/GLOWED! I miss Scratch & Sniff stickers, We hac tge MR. SCETCH Markers, which they still make in some form, but they changed the scents! I had scented pencils even, with the little refills! EVEN LOVED STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE! That scent will bring you RIGHT BACK to the 80's!! I LOVED THIS EPISODE, I FEEL SO FUZZY & NOSTALGIC! I WANT MORE BRO! CHEERS!🤘📺📸🕹💥🎮☎

That’s not a bad idea actually. Smell has such a tie to memory and nostalgia. I actually keep some strawberry shortcake figures around just for the scent! And Moss Man from He-man 😂

My Wife dressed up a few Years ago as the SEXY STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE, & We went to a Halloween party, & We ACTUALLY FOUND this spray at this novelty/accessory store, & it was a spray bottle full of I SWEAR ON MY PARENT'S ASHES BRO THE EXACT SCENT that they used for the dolls! We bought like 4 bottles😂😂😂😂 & She looked So HOT, & I doused Her in this spray, like Her wig, Her Dress, Her stockings(WELL, THAT WAS FOR ME😉😎🤑 & She won First prize, because We REALLY made it look SEXY, YET TRUE to the ACTUAL 80's 🍓SHORTCAKE!
