Sweet to watch a much older video. I enjoyed observing the ‘what’s changed’ moments in your home and gardens and realizing you are still working down at the garden center! Love it all😘 And also I found Monica’s twin! 😉😂 (and Dexter is still around🥰)
I came across your videos about 2 weeks ago while looking for information on suculents and I've been binge watching you ever since.. You've given me so many ideas, I'm so exited for winter to be over so I can start planting! I love your personality and how you make everything seem so easy keep up the great work!

Ok Yes, very much enjoyed 😊
I love these random project videos! They're so fun to watch! Make sure to post updates of everything (especially the hydroponics!) :)
I try to watch all of your videos and haven’t seen one that I didn’t love. Garden Answer is my all time favorite. Thank you for making my day.
You are my new favourite channel! Love how you talk to the camera and I love your diy's
I LOVE the long videos!!! Makes me so excited for spring!
Thank you for sharing your day. I love these videos where we get to see some of the day to day gardening projects/tasks/chores. Who would've thought to hide yucky soil with pine cones!! Love it!!
Loved this video! Those hyacinth bulbs looked picture perfect (can't wait to see them blooming)! Enjoy all your projects and appreciate you filming them. Makes me want to get creative!
Hello Laura :) I love Ned! He's such a little cutie. I would recommend upgrading his tank if you can. My personal favorite is the Fluval Spec V, 5 gallon. It is kinda pricey though, so you could even go with the rimless TopFin 5 gallon aquarium from PetSmart, which is on sale for $40 at the moment. It's super elegant and you can even aquascape it. All you need is a piece of driftwood (I recommend either Manzanita or Mopani, or fake wood lol), some rocks, and some plants. Look up low tech planted tanks for inspiration if you'd like! Some great plants include Anubias Nana Petite (which you already have in your bowl), moss balls (which you also have), java moss, and java fern. All are low-med light plants that don't require any CO2 or fertilization. I'm super passionate about fish and fish tanks LOL

I was thinking the same thing when she showed Ned! I love bettas, and I also started how most people start with them (small unfiltered, unheated bowl), but after researching and learning more about proper fishkeeping, planted tanks and aquascaping it's become somewhat of an obsession, haha! I just finished scaping, planting and stocking a Fluval Spec V i got for christmas. I think the Spec is more for experienced fishkeepers since it takes some tweaking to get it to work the way you want it for a betta. I agree with some of the smaller kits like the one you mentioned though, and I'm considering getting a Tetra 3 gallon cube from Amazon for just $30. I have an extra little filter lying around that I will probably use instead of the air pump one that comes with it. Seeing all the amazing things Laura does with plants and rocks, I'm sure she can do something really nice for Ned in a filtered/heated 3 or 5 gallon cube with some rocks, driftwood and low-light plants like Anubias :)

Jazmine ThePuppy she could also get a 5 gallon from petco. At the store closest to me, they are having the $1 per gallon sale so it would be really cheap.

katie gibson I think the dollar per gallon sale only applies from 10 gallons and up, although I might be wrong.
I loved this video Laura! Thank you for sharing all of these little projects with us. 🌾Merry meet ღ 🌿
Yes, I did enjoy the video! How about a pic of your dinner, sounds delicious 😃
I love these vlogs that you do! They are always so interesting! Please keep doing them!
I really enjoyed the video! It was not too long at all. Your home and property are gorgeous, thanks for sharing :)
that dinner sounded amazing!!! omg yuuuum! I also cant wait to see those bloom in those gorgeous copper pots!
So fun!!! I really loved hanging out with you. Can't wait to see how the hyacinths do and to check out the color on the tulips! Thank you for this channel. I love what you share with us!
Talking about your dinner proves my "Martha Stewart" theory! You ARE the Martha of your generation!!!! I really enjoy all your videos and I have started a fairy garden obsession!
Great area for your bulbs. That will look beautiful when they bloom. Hopefully I can find an update of them blooming.
so pretty the bulb containers , love it
I think the grass and cones are a great choice for doorways this time of year...Liked!
Awesome video. Dinner sounds amazing.
I really like your longer vlog/videos! They are very interesting and helpful.
Great video! BTW, bettas should be kept in heated, filtered, (minimum 3 gallon) tanks.

TheGhjbkl re beta, they don't need heater unless the room temp goes too low. we've had them for years and never needed a heater...😄😉

Bettas are certainly hardy fish & I'm glad to hear yours have all done well, but they're tropical fish (originally from Southeast Asia) & will thrive in an aquarium heated to 76-80 degrees F. Also, keep in mind that just because the room temperature is warm (around 76), water temperature will be lower than that.

Yep and they can survive in the smallest amount of water as well, just a cupful or less, but look much prettier in larger amounts so they can show off their beauty much betta...😄😉

it's very difficult to regulate a water heater for a tank so small. mine has done totally fine without it. :)

You are awesome! Totally doing this and giving it to my mom, thanks for the idea
FYI I watch you all the time and I went and got a bunch of plants from your videos that I that I probably wouldn't normally have thought of. Dexter is just like my kitty that helps me plant outside too!!
Always love your videos, thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful 2022.
Fun video! And I love how much you love Dexter 😊
Love the indoor projects!!! Your adorable
I love these kind of videos! I enjoy listening to you talk as I work on my plant projects. Lol hope that doesn't sound too creepy
Great video! I love every second of it! I feel like you are already my friend, Laura! LOL! I wish I live in your city so that I could shop at your garden center and occasionally bump into you so I can say "hi"! :D
Love the three cooper planters!
Love your vids Laura !!! Never boring 😊
I used to sell foam for upholstery. Browning is normal. 😊
I love all your videos but I've been loving your less formal/vlog type videos! Keep'em coming!
Love the trays. I couldn't do those inside though, my cats would nibble on them. Looks beautiful.
Next time show your good too! That sounded amazing. I can't wait to see how the bulbs do.
Thanks Laura, your house is awesome!!! I always love your ideas 🌷🌹

Just started watching your channel today and I'm hooked!! Love all the amazing ideas that you have. Please update the Hyacinths would love to see how they turn out.
I love these long videos!! Keep them coming 😃
Great video! I just love your sunroom, so cute! Love to see what you're doing :) So wish I could travel for some of the classes at the Garden centre, bit far from the UK tho!
Please do more videos like these! Very entertaining!
Hi! I just thought about the perfect spring project, why not build a leafmold and composting station! it's something I noticed you're laking in your garden, and with the size of your property and the amount of trees you could have enough mulch for a lot of your planting areas :) you could always show us how you're filling it up during your monthly garden tours :)
I just love this kind video!! ♡♡♡

Love your channel! Very valuable content and I love how effortless this all is! :-)
I LOVE your vlog videos. You make me want to be your friend! Your home is beautiful and thanks for inspiring us like always and letting us all experience a bit of day in the life. Also, Dexter is the sweetest! I love so much that he chose you guys. Really hoping your bulbs do well- if they start to tilt over, do you think tying some jute around them would help?
Pinecones and Carex look good. Great idea! Yummy meal! Never too long!😁
Great video! My paperwhites came up perfectly in a very shallow container on rocks. They just don't last long (2 weeks tops) but its worth it!
I would love to see the shallow copper bowls full of hyacinth when they are blooming
I love to hear from u !
I love the hyacinth planters! I really hope they turn out good. they'll smell amazing in your kitchen. I tried a clear bulb planter a couple years ago and the roots took over the rocks and it didn't look that great, but maybe you put enough rocks in to keep the roots hidden. I am also curious about your candles, I've seen them in several of your videos and it makes me think your house smells wonderful
I'd like to see your cooking as well, sounds so good 😋
I top-dressed pots in my sunny screened porch this morning, BEFORE seeing this great video! Great minds..........
Xoxo,I think ur bulbs will turn out fine so that you'll enjoy. I did some a few years back an love them. But the bad thing about Wyoming weather is when I transplanted them out side the wind blew them sideways and alover. So bedtime I'll jus keep them inside
And I LOVE LOVE LOVE these kinds of videos! Please post the recipe, it sounds delicious

Have a happy Friday!!! 🙂😃😝
Submerse a mesh bag filled with alfalfa hay in the water. Alfalfa bales prevent alge growth in ponds. Works in fish tanks too.
I have alwsays wanted to plant bulbs like you did on your island, maybe I will try this year.
Yassssss I love the vlogs keep em coming
yepp. this kind of video is my favorite!
Me too please!! 18:38 sounds delish!
We're all coming for dinner !!!
You need to start a cooking channel. 😋😋
"It's getting warm outside" Me: cool where's the sun *background full of snow 🙃* Helpful video 👌
What will you do with the bulbs after they have bloomed? I love your videos. I love to garden and plant and watch the garden grow and change.
What an amazing talented woman you are.
Don't forget your alcohol to help keep them short. I think I watched that on one of your videos from before. I think it will be lovely! Can't wait to see how it works out.
I get in a bad mood when it rains I can just feel how bad of a mood u would get if it snow thank god it had never snowed before where I live and never will lol I live in San Diego CA
Loved this type of video! Could you give us an update on your hydroponics garden and the bulbs? Can't wait to see how they're growing!

Hi there! Can you tell me what the grow system is and where one can find it? I love watching your videos.....you're so personable and I love that you share so much great information for those of us who are still learning....Thank you!

Love your house... Old and new sections? A Sun room? wow...What happens to the remaining outdoor plant in big pots that you had trimmed back and decor with pinecones? Will they grow back or are they dead ?
How are the hyacinths doing? Would love to see an update!
Hi Laura neat Idea! Nice house! Can I start herbs inside now?
Did you post an update on these projects? I'm curious to see how they turned out!

did the copper planters bulbs work??? it seems interesting and I would love to try it 😊😊😊
Love your videos! How do you keep Dexter away from your house plants? So many are toxic to cats, including hyacinths & tulips, that I just get nervous about planting anything indoors. Do you have any tips?
I love your videos. You are the best 😇. What month is it? I don’t know when I should plant my tulips out side in pots. I’m in Northern CA. December 8 and our weather is 68-72. I have my bulbs in a bag in our extra refrigerator in the garage. I don’t know when to plant them outside. Thank you 🙏🏾
Love the house what are you planning to do on that side
Love it
