That was fun. One thing I thought of, maybe clue a 1/4 x 1/4 x whatever along the front of the top box as a stop for the roll of sandpaper to stop it rolling out. More stable laying down I'd think and I know that's how I'd end up throwing it in there. Just a thought.

I was led to believe using the fence when cutting short pieces (wider than they are long, around 1:40 in the video) was a no-no. Was I mislead? Or does it not matter with plywood? This is not a criticism, just a question. I enjoyed this video and hope to make a similar sandpaper organizer for my own shop. As always, thank you for these amazing videos.

You are correct in thinking that. The pieces I cut were small and supported with the Microjig I was using. But yes, in most cases you would use a miter or sled.

+Make Something I have the Bosch ROS65VC, and I think it's pretty darn close to the Festool's normal sanding mode. Low vibration, great dust extraction, and big pad. Now, if you have the Festool Rotex, it does more stuff with its extra mode.
