I don't know exactly why, but I'm enjoying your inclusion of German and the translation. As an English speaker so much is tailored to me, and for some reason hearing you two speak German makes the world seem a bit bigger and more colorful.

It is wonderful to see your smile as you realize this small incremental change for "quality of life" in the shop. I recently made a great solution for the large rolls of sandpaper: 1L (Greek) yoghurt buckets. I just cut a slot in the side and pull the end of the roll through. Perfect free sandpaper dispenser. Had them on a bar first, but they unrolled themselves and made a mess.

Sounds great! I used to tape the outside of the roll, let it stand on the side, and get the paper from the center. That was tidy as long as it stands on the shelf, but you can't really move it without making a mess once you have used a decent part of the sandpaper.

What I like most about this project is this Vinyl kind of a box design. It is so satisfying to flip through something which you can hold and turn and watch from all sides. So even if you stream your music in your workshop you could still replicate a bit of the feeling as you would play a vinyl by just choosing the sandpaper. David Bowie = 180 grid :-)
