Thousands of children like this are abandoned by their parents and considered as rats on the streets which hide in the shadows only exposing themselves if they feel it safe enough to scavenge for food and water. It is appalling that the governments of the world are ok with this.

I'm afraid though that the human brain for the majority will take thousands of years before developing into a benevolent being. We are at a point in time that our brains developments are in a phase of self pleasure and is the most important thing in our lives.

@@godofwar9778 For me, to see the split second it took for the lad to recognize his dad, and then the genuine display of him being stoked to have him there, the look on his face, the hug.............. Christ, I had both of my parents when I was a child, lost Ma to pancreatic cancer when I was 16. I was an only child, and my father's work took him out of town for 2 maybe 3 weeks at a shot. I still remember at 16 or 17 how glad I was to see him when he came home. I lost him to lymphoma when I was 19, and he was 57. So, I hope maybe this gave some insight into why some people cry seeing this stuff.

Seeing an extremely tiny malnourished naked baby eating cracker and drinking water from a kind lady both bring joy to my heart and heartbreaking at the same time. It was both beautiful and sad. God Blessed. I hope there is/are God(s).

Little girls are drawn to dolls because of their nurturing instinct, so the girl receiving the doll is very special. They like to care for people.

@@sBaby_ I felt a bit uneasy actually, the woman too nonchalant, and not seeing how she lets the little starving one bend forward so that it's a wonder that she did'nt fall forwards, with the weakness and despite the huge head. And the stress of all the traffic around... not good for water uptake. She should have taken the child aside , let it sit or lie and given it. Of course Idk whether she was in a hurry etc. Let us hope the child got rescued and not just a drink of water.

ALL of these moments caught on video were heart warming, but I was overwhelmed at 1:34 into the video...seeing this frail malnourished child taking a drink from a water bottle...WOW...NO WORDS can describe. I wanted to reach into the screen and pick up this little child and tell him it's going to be ok...I GOT U!...WOW...Lord be with him and THANK YOU to the kind woman who was sensitive to his situation...God BLESS YOU!

The little one was rescued by Anja Loven, a Danish care worker, after she found him walking naked on the streets of Nigeria, with his body riddled with worms. The 2-year-old kid had been fending for himself on the streets for around 8 months after his family abandoned him accusing him of being a 'witch'. When Anja found him, he was in a miserable condition and had contracted several diseases from living on the street. She took him to a hospital and took care of him like her own son. As she nursed the little kid, who was on the verge of death, Anja named him 'Hope'.

You know Gandhi, when he had got on one of those crowded Indian trains in the heat and had lost one of his sandals on the platform but the train was moving, he took off the other one and threw it out of the window. It's such a shame on most of the human race that we still have situations like this. Poverty and the likes. Shame on us for. Bloody greed is destroying this place. Love to you all.

No, "watching" does not "keep" anything. DOING smth., and not just for pictures, Insta etc., not for profit, like NGO's, doing - THAT keeps people human. Crying before your PC does not change a damn; sorry to burst your bubble.

I remember the story for that one. The whole village didn't feed her even her parents because they thought the baby was cursed. Something like that.

The sole meaning of life is to serve humanity😘😘

There is not enough love and kindness in the world like these men and women. We need more of it to restore the world.

How it's so nice to see people being nice to one another wish we could see more of that before we're all gone

An act of kindness can boost feelings of confidence, being in control, happiness and optimism. They may also encourage others to repeat the good deeds they've experienced themselves - contributing to a more positive community.

I try to watch videos similar to this at least once if not several times a week. It reminds me that despite all the evil and horrific acts we all see on a daily basis that there are others (I'd like to think the majority) that see the human condition for what it actually is not what the powers that be portray it to be. It strengthens my faith in humanity.
