    Once, when I was young, scared, and being followed, I just walked into a small law firm and asked if I could sit in their waiting room for a little while until he gave up and moved on. One of the attorneys (a large, well-dressed man) went and stood in the door looking at the stalker, and he drove away very quickly. They let me wait 15 minutes until I felt brave enough to carry on walking to my bus stop. You can never thank people like that enough.

    It makes me feel so good to be able to help others. It's so good to know that there are loving, caring people out there. This made me think about a time I helped a mother duck and her babies cross the street. But the sad thing was people blew their horns at me to get out of the way because I stop my truck in traffic. I would do it again if I had to.

    I got "hired" to be my Company Commander's driver when I was randomly assigned to drive him to Base HQ one day. When I got to HQ to pick him up, I grabbed a Styrofoam cup of coffee. And as soon as I took the first sip, he was ready to go. So, We went out and got in the Jeep (M151, this was post Vietnam by not much), I placed the cup on the floorboard between the front seats, and drove to Base HQ. When we arrived, I picked up the cup and continued drinking it. I didn't think a thing about it until we got back, and the CO said to First Daddy, "Hey Top, I just found my new driver. Get him all the trainings, please." And that is how I -met your mother- got certified on the 105mm Recoilless Rifle.

    1:35 - This happened to me once! I was at the 24 garage at 2am getting another bottle of wine after a party, and I saw a girl that I knew but hadn't seen for a few years. She'd been out on the town, nothing new for her, and she was looking amazing as always (very pretty girl). Anyways, after saying hi from across the forecourt, she ran over to me and said hi, gave me a hug and whispered in my ear "I need your help! That guy won't leave he's followed me all the way back from the club!". I was shocked! That's MILES! Like 3-4 miles! And he was big, a good bit bigger than me. So I said "Stick with me I'll think of something!". And as I walked back with them, I was weighing it up and thought, fuck it - I got nothing - so I simply said to him "Hey pal, listen, Lisa likes you but she's tired and I'm gonna walk her home so, why don't you give her your number and she'll call you tomorrow.". And the guy looked at me and said "Oh, I'm ... I don't want to get hurt. Am I gonna get hurt? I'm sorry, I don't want to get hurt!" and I was like "What? No! Nobodys gonna hurt you pal, I wouldn't let them. WHo's gonna hurt you?" then I realized he was just a bit slow in the head, maybe? A big gentle giant. So I got him to leave, and set Lisa home, but she asked me as we got to her door "Want to share that wine with me?". I mean, that entire night, was a total fucking winner! In every respect. And the guy he never got hurt. I rang him a cab from my phone.

  • @TheVanillatech

    @TheVanillatech

    Жыл бұрын

    @@drcokepepper He KNEW her name, bro. They had met in town, hours and hours before. He obviously knew her name. She was very attractive, and very flirty, and used that to get free drinks pretty much everywhere she went. But she did it in a playful manner. That guy, he couldn't tell the difference between flirting and having a good time, and a green light. He obviously thought he had a green light, and he'd refused to leave her, followed her all the way home, and she was stuck with him at that garage. She'd gotten herself into a bad situation, the guy was big, and obviously not quite all there in the head. She didn't know how to get away. She lived alone too! Which is even more dangerous. So she was pretty fucking lucky that I was thirsty and had wandered to that garage! And I was pretty lucky too, by the end of the night! XD And yeah, I told him that she likes him, to appease him, to make him leave. I needed to keep him in a good mood, I didn't want to be fighting some random guy who is 3" taller and probably 25lbs heavier than me, at almost 3am, in the middle of the street. My tactic worked, I got him to leave peacefully.

    @@TheVanillatech ok thanks,from the story it seemed like he just started following her from the club,in the story it didn't seem as though they had any kind of conversation before hand and I just thought it was one of those times when a woman is walking abd suddenly notices that someone is following them.

  • @TheVanillatech

    @TheVanillatech

    @@drcokepepper Nope, he'd been tagging along all night, apparently. In a way, she shouldn't have led him on, but fools and their money should be parted. She's good company, and like I said she never has to pay for a drink when theres guys (mugs) around. But it seemed that guy couldn't take a hint, and wouldn't give in. Probably harmless, like I said a bit slow and maybe even a virgin thinking he had won the love lottery, but either way - it's not normal. Especially dangerous cos he was a big fella, and she's a small lass. Anyways. It was a strange night! XD

Millionaire rappers going broke because rappers before them taught them you gotta wear chains worth a house, Instagram "influencers" getting caught all the time faking being rich because they too have been taught by the ugly side of consumerism that your things make your worth not your actual principles or morals. High end companies spend a lot of money to trick people into thinking if you don't have the newest iphone your not shit. OMG I love the one at the border. The children are able to play with their families. They also have a place along the border called friendship park where they can visit with family.

    - Man those football players totally saved that kid from an ugly cry. You could see on his little face as they were carrying him away that he was starting to regret his decesion and was moments away from tears until they changed the vibe and turned it into a wonderful memory for him :)
