I don’t think so, but I don’t know for sure. That’s never been a problem for me.

My overdrive 7 Pro is starting to have issues the darn phantom touch issue looks almost as if the screen is starting to delaminate. So looks like I'm going to need to upgrade and I was thinking about upgrading to the overdrive Pro ii but sounds like there's issues of that series to say the least. Do the TNDs finally run Android? It'll be nice to be able to import my address book into the new tablet.

I believe they do but I've never had a TMD. The more I use Garmin products the more I'm starting to like them, I just bought their new GPS and it's great

@@truckertoddllc I'm surprised my overdrive Pro lasted as long as it did. It's got over 460 thousand miles on it since 2019. Definitely had a share of issues that's for sure and if it wasn't for the darn phantom touch inputs I'd keep using it.

Do you need to have it connected to a smartphone to get live Traffic and Weather?

Yes it's kind of Hit and Miss as to how well it works

Thanks for the info. Right now the TND 750 is cheaper than the Overdrive so I'll probably just go with that since I now have enough points at Love's to get the 750 for free. Just a tip... Before you make a video, make sure that you don't have any booger bats visibly hanging out in the caves.

I've got the 7 first edition. About 200k miles on it so far. Only complaint is the mount sucks and nearly impossible to get a new one with the serious xm.

It's really heavy so it's hard to find a good mounting location and the dash cam is almost worthless

TND 750 it isssssss or maybe the Garmin OTR700 it will be my first GPS still deciding

That's a really great question honestly I haven't tried either of those two that you mentioned I'm just going off of what people have told me. I tend to buy one GPS and stick with it good or bad until it wears itself out. This is one of the situations where I would rely on what you guys tell me if you buy one of them and really like it that would carry a lot of weight with me

I appreciate your enthusiasm about the content but the information at the start of the videos is necessary for the success of the channel. Without the intros and all the information in the beginning I would never have ranked high enough in the algorithms for you to see my videos to begin with. Thanks for watching

The New ones SUCK just as bad. Even Rand themselves say not to purchase the Pro II's. They are having many issues with them. I had three and returned them ALL.

Yes we also use that app as a second opinion to our Rand McNally GPS. I bought a lifetime subscription from them several years ago when they still offered it

The lifetime subscription is the way to go. It's definitely worth it

So why not move your mount? Change it up. Why not move your GPS? There are alot of options. I just bought a 8 Pro II and I luv it. So why are you complaining?? Why did you buy it? As you say...all of the bells and whistles.. no the GPS does not over complicate. The user over comiplicates. Close all of the windows, its an Android and it is awesome. Way too many negative reviews becauae people use them incorrectly.

I actually did do that. I moved it to another location and it worked pretty good but it will randomly shut off for no reason the dash cam. Reviews are one person's opinion, and evidently a lot of people feel the same way I do because it has a lot of negative reviews. If you like it good for you and congratulations. That's the great thing about America we don't have to agree on everything

Sound was horrible.

You are the first person to complain about the sound and I've watched all of my videos that I record to make sure the sound quality is good. You might want to check your device and see if there's a problem there

Ah maybe. I never had any trouble with the sound on my 10-4
