I really like the sound of that sax and with the copper plated parts, it makes it stand out a bit. If only I had the money, I'd get one for sure. Although its aimed at classical players, it's also sounds like it could be good for smooth Jazz by the way you played it. For a gold plated saxophone, I thought it would be more expensive than it is, as the Yamaha Custom 875EXG gold plated alto is much more expensive in comparison. It is interesting you mentioned Claudio said the sound of the Solista is like "top quality food with top quality tomatoes, probably Italian and with mozzarella" as I was just eating some slices of top quality Italian food with those toppings while watching this, haha. 🍕🎷

Something tells me Jim could pick up a used Selmer-Bundy student alto with old pads and leaks everywhere and still come out sounding great. The horns are nice, but the player makes the music.

This R&C alto saxophone sounds superior to Selmer's new alto, called 'Supreme'. This R&C is even gold-plated (!), and it costs a bit less too.

I think it's a d'addario select jazz, i kind of saw it on one of the close ups, not 100% sure though
