cashgtu ignorethispart If you play thrashcore or any extreme metal it's pretty mandatory. Not so much in jazz and other genres, which you should learn anyway if you are a serious musician.

It's a basic eighth note rock beat on the hats and floor tom during most of song, with some crashes. Quarter notes on the ride during the bridge. Most of it is: - Hats - Hats - Hats - Hats - Hats - Hats - Hats - Hats --Kick-----------Snare----------Kick----Kick---Snare-------

@ianfilth13 My drums sound like this, because after I record, I edit the sound in Cool Edit. I put a compressor on it and do some eq-ing. And to play Ramones stuff, just use your right wrist. And lots of practise to build up stamina.

I lost all my stuff some months ago when my computer gave up on me. Cool Edit Pro is pretty old actually. But there are good multitrack programs available for free. Like Audacity.

I record my drumtrack with 1 microphone which is plugged in my Edirol soundcard. I edit the sound in Cool Edit Pro with the backing track. Then I synchronize that soundfile with my video file. I don't use the sound from my video cam. It sounds shitty.

@ianfilth13 My arms used to swell up too and then become so stiff, you can hardly move them anymore. Still happens when I just start pounding a Ramones song without a warm up.

Non, c'est vrai j'aurais pas du. Mais je critique juste le faite que un tome aigu ne se met plus comme ça. L'ancienne Batterie de Ian Paice, ou Dave Grohl, y s'ont pas leur tome aigu a 3 mètre mais sur un pied donc presque au même niveau que la caisse claire. Et le charley ne se place haut que si le batteur joue haut comme le batteur des Ramones ou des Sex Pistols. Alors si je m'y connais pas,toi aussi te la ramène pas. Regarde les nouvelles batterie 4 futs de DW Drums.
