Die dürfte im System "verloren gegangen sein." Und ja, heute mal Deutsch. Die gesamte Stimmung ist "Geil", aber es ist auch dass Lied, dass ich in manchen Zeiten Meide, da es zu sehr an die Situation mit meiner eigenen Mutter erinnert. Und es mir immer alles zusammenzieht, wenn ich an diese Denke. Wenn die Leute nur wüssten, wie teuflisch sie mit mir immer ist (auch als Erwachsene). Sie hat eindeutig Narzisstische Züge und der Coach mit dem ich mich manchmal austauschte (der gleiches erlebte), sagte, dass nur der Kontaktabbruch hilft. Es klingt arg, aber es stimmt 100%. So, jetzt weisst Du, dass ich noch lebe. Bis demnaechst wieder irgendwo im Netz und alles Gute an den Bodensee. ❤

I have come back 2 years later to say that I finally decided that this is my favorite Rammstein song! I'll check back again in a couple more years, it could be different at that point!

This is one of my fav Paris performances the song is beautiful, the performance is amazing and I agree that riff is absolutely gorgeous…Richard looks fantastic too ❤️I love him☺️

This Schneider's fav´ song, He said in the making-off video .. that when they play Mutter he really wants to cry

Yes, because they almost broke up because of the video of "Mutter".

actually these sparks are pretty painful. flake wrote in his book how he sometimes catches one or two and they hurt him thrugh his jacket, and till takes them on bare skin so just imagine the experience

They did already "Spring"!

In an early performance Till added a little extra sadness to the slow part where he repeats "Mutter" right before the sparks happen. He used to add a little and very desperate sounding "Mama?" ( "mommy") right before he blows it off with the final shouting of "Mutter". Can't find the performance any longer sadly but it hit differently that much I can say.

They dosen’t play this song often… it’s very personal to Till and Richard. They had a very unhappy childhood and the song brings back a lot of memories.

You need to try the studio version too. It's a bit heavier than live.

You are really sleeping on the new Imminence song called Ghost. It’s the heavier song by them yet by me.

You definitly should look up the lyrics in english. The best part IMHO is this: "The mother who has never given birth to me, I swore that night, I want do gift her a disease and then drown her in the river." Because even if the Riffs make this Song special the lyrics are a the real gem in this Song.
