Oh that’s really funny! Yes, “aus” is “from” in German, but it can also be the country code…for AUSTRALIA. So with just one remark you gave us Berlin and kangaroos … I take both 😄 I don’t know if you have already watched it, but I recommend to also watch Engel Live aus Berlin. 🤣 just was wondering, since when Berlin is in Austria, although you sometimes see cars with the B on it and know they are from Berlin/Germany. They still have it at the set-list, with the original ending. Ups-Spoiler. Sorry. Which means, there would be another ending to it. Thanks for your reaction.

It may actually mean "out of". "Aus" plays many roles in the German language. Ever since I learned Auslander means outlander (or foreigner), I can't help but think of this as Live out of Berlin.

A real classic. They still play it at the current tour ...

I saw them in Chicago a couple weeks ago. Been waiting my entire life. Was the best concert ever. And heirate mich was one of their best songs

After 18 years listening of Rammstein and all over their 8 albums, this song is still my favourite. So powerful, both musically and lyricly.

"Heirate Mich" is for me the best version on the "Live in Berlin" show from 98', especially the intro 😏 It's just amazing! No..the whole show is just legendary! 👍 I have the DVD at home and I don't know how many countless times I've watched it 😆🤘🤘

I love this song. Got a wicked "bounce" to it. The Live Aus Berlin show is so good. Several songs on there are unique to the show for proper professional recordings.

The facial expressions and the response from the crowd pretty much took me back to 1998 and the fascination me and my peers felt when Rammstein appeared ( I was 14). The mix of hard, repetitive riffs, elctronic sounds and dark, theatrical nature of lyrics, appearance and performance was new, confusing...and irresistable. There wasn´t anything nearly comparable to Rammstein. But all of a sudden they appeared on the radio, with Du Hast and Engel, on the radio and MTV, between Backstreet Boys, Puff Daddy and last-breath-of-Eurodance-Artists. I didn´t know what to make of them but I knew I liked what I heard. And that was a feeling I shared with most of my friends regardless what music they were usually into. Sehnsucht was on of those albums everbody seemed to have.

Richard looked like some sort of exiled fae prince back then.

I love this song, thankfully this song is making a comeback on the current tour. What an awesome and powerful song. and the great Guitars-Solo from Richard!!!! HEIRATE MICH HEI, HEI!!!!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍

@@wolframvonstein7303 I can still remember how difficult it was to get the tickets. I was lucky that a good friend works in the Pressezentrum and also ordered a ticket for herself right away. I'm still grateful to her for that today, because otherwise I wouldn't have managed it. We then drove to Berlin together.

@@tosa2522 I saw them in Cardiff at the end of June and I was surprised that there were still tickets available on the door? I wish I had bought an extra one so I could have had an empty seat next to me as I had the biggest, fattest bloke ever squeezed in next to me so I had to watch the concert at a bit of an angle as I was tilted to one side!!

​@@anjizetland-von-kiesel3346 When I was in Berlin this year in July, no one was sitting. I tried to sit down for a moment, but between all the people standing, I got claustrophobic. Also, the bass that could be felt through the stadium floor was more extreme when you were sitting.

I was at the Rammstein concert in Oslo yesterday. I have probably been at a couple of hundreds concerts in my life, but this was by far the best. Insane and crazy. And they played this song of course. 😁🤘🔥

Saw them live this week in Tallinn, for the first time in my life - it was fuckin' amazing. The sound, the light, the performance, the whole energy - I was blown away. Stood by the pass they use while going to the small stage to sing Engel, saw them close, happy times ) And this particular song. Not my favorite, but I love the live performance, and I love the bullshittery Till doing before he begins to sing it on this tour. But I'm worried for his head ) Oh, and Live aus Berlin'98 - it's one true love, first and unforgetable.

Still have the VHS from the Live Aus Berlin, show, when it was released on DVD later a few songs from the concert were censored out, unfortunately. Seeing them live in four days, I can't wait. The second I'm seeing them.

Yeah Live Aus Berlin has the energy like no other, them being younger and all.

Standing in the background looking unimpressed and downright angry was basically Pauls trademark in this era of Rammstein, in this legendary concert they even show a perfectly timed close up of his face during the song "Klavier" exactly when Till sings a line about murderous rage. Sadly this kinda stopped over time, same with Richard sometimes deep singing a sentence or two in songs like "Du Riechst so gut".

The next song after Heirate Mich has to be Klavier Live Aus Berlin is a powerful and beautiful dark song that you are going to love 😎

Our screw up.

When they performed this song in Sydney Australia during the 2001 Big Day Out Festival, after Till sung the first lines and then it’s an instrumental before the next lyrics are sung, a fan gave them Nazi Salute. Till called him out yelling "Hey!". And then later on in the song, Richard points at the guy who gave the Nazi Salute and gives him an evil look.

They play this on the current tour. Watch out for Till, he goes full on insane.

This was the first song I heard from them back in 1999

The end of the song is actually missing in this clip. After the hard stop there at the end, there are a couple more lines and an outro left, which really tie the whole thing together.

They didnt end it like the album version for some reason for the Live Aus Berlin show, maybe it was just a time thing . They do change songs up from time to time, Sonne live doesn't end like the album version either for example

@@wildwine6400 I am aware of the concert playing out that way; was just pointing it out, especially as Chels thought the song was a tad repetetive. The elongated middle portion where the audience sings along is also of course a stage thing and the outro missing does make the song seem less versatile than it actually is, I'd say.

u should see till spinning around when they play this at the current show (or this last tour cause it’s over now)

they used to be much closer to industrial metal than they are today, that's also their roots

Berlin 1998 was the best concert ever. In my umble opinion I was 7 at the time, and ofc wasn´t there, but my parents were, My Dad later got the DvD an even copied it on CD so i could listen to it. When he had friends over I sometimes joined in when they were drinking and watching the DVD (or others)....ah those were better days :D Have you ever looked at "Du riechst so gut" - "You smell so good" from the same concert?
