I love the comments at other rections. Correct is 50 kg. I cought see 55 or 60 kg. I wait for the next step higher 😁

@@andreschachel5863 I assume the higher values are due to the conversion to the American pound. This corresponds to 110 pounds. However, one pound in Germany is exactly 1/2 kg.

Ja da hatte Till großes Glück denn ein Feuerwerksschuß ging mitten in die Zuschauer.Wenn man genau aufpasst erkennt man es.Gottseidank ist nichts passiert.Deshalb hat er auch am Ende des Songs ein Kreuz für sich geschlagen.Später wurde es bei Konzerten anders gemacht.@@andreschachel5863

These wings weight 5O kg (110 pounds). Till doesn't wear them anymore because they hurt his back...he's 61 and still in great shape, but still. I was lucky enough to see this live many years ago, when Till was suspended in the air wearing this contraption. Unreal!

i'm hearing rumors the wings 'might' make a return for this year 30th anniversary tour..love to see them return in some shape or form and I know he can't carry them anymore, but heeey..'Rammlied' made a return last year so....

30th anniversary tour so they got to be doing something special plus all last summer's BS is over so..probably settle for the return of some old favorites like 'Keine Lust' and 'Feuer frei' etc, whatever they come up with it be special@@Tiisiphone

Welcome to the rabbit hole! The vast majority of Rammstein songs don't require subtitles. HOWEVER...2 brilliant exceptions are Ich Will live (Hurricane Festival 2016), to fully understand the crowd participation, and Dicke Titten, cos it's just so damn funny!

When I read the comments I think the wings are becoming heavier and heavier... 😂

yeah, first time I read about the wings they were about 36 kg...

Yes, I’ve seen them live 5 times since 2005, including Munich last summer because they didn’t come to the UK on that run of the Stadium Tour. This performance of Engel was the final encore of the 2010 tour, if I remember rightly.

Great Song! 👍 The Wings weigh 50kg and especially at the beginning you notice that he has a hard Time singing, then when the Wings are spread out and the Weight no longer pulls backwards it gets better! At another Concert they used a different Technique, the Construction was on Ropes, he clipped himself in there and then floated in the Air! Till does not walk around with them anymore. He was actually getting back problems from them, imagine walking around it with that weight when the wings are extended.

the whistling is real. It's a kind of left over from the early punk days in East Germany in 19080/90s of bands like Feeling B etc.

The whistling is a backing track, it's very clear to the keen observer that they're just mimicking.

@@module79l28 I don't know if they used backing tracks at this concert, but at concerts in the 90' it was always live and I stood right at the front of the stage in Berlin (in small clubs they still came right up to the stage) and experienced it myself. At least they could do that back then. The whole concert sounds fantastic, maybe it's all just music from the tape and they're just miming, what does your trained ear say to this thesis?

The frontsinger does his own project "Lindemann" - Highly sarcastic and controversial - He shows often the darkest side of humanity with his, yes true art. Highly recomended... 💙
