I thought at first he was talking about his father [RIP] moving as an immigrant to America from Egypt, and then he was going to link that to Freddie. Wondferful man, actor, speech and performance.

He’s highly intelligent! It shows on how he speaks! No nonsense! Very humble.

He so sincerely realizes and appreciates all the work of other people that goes into creating a performance, a movie. He must be such a great collaborator on set. Trying to make everyone feel a part of the results of their efforts is such a generous, sensitive person.

Rami is so eloquent when he speaks, and so honestly appreciative. It’s impossible to not enjoy watching and listening to him. And his heartfelt commitment to becoming and making us appreciate Freddie Mercury even more, so many years after Freddie lit up the world....it’s something else. Thank you, Rami.

that was a DAMN good speech. and i'm glad he was given enough time to thank everyone involved in the film; if this was the Golden Globes or the Oscars, he'd have been cut off (something i've always found rude).

mary howden - he had to hurry it up though; while he was thanking Brian & Roger, i noticed there's a countdown screen at the far back of the room. he only had a few seconds left so i'm glad they didn't cut him off as he thanks Freddie
