A dream that has come true! Visiting Rameshwaram with my partner has been on my bucket list for a while now and it has finally happened. The Rameswaram travel guide video will give you insights into our unforgettable trip to Rameshwaram. This Rameshwaram vlog will help you plan well for your trip to this holy place.
Rameshwaram is one of the holy places according to Puranas. A visit to Rameswaram in one's lifetime is considered auspicious. According to Ramayan, Prabhu Shri Ram along with his brother Lakshman and his army built the historic Ram Setu bridge which connected to Sri Lanka to rescue his wife Sita Devi from the demon king Ravan in Lanka. After a tiring journey from Mumbai to Thanjavur and to Rameshwaram, we reached Rameshwaram in the evening and immediately decided to explore the places in Rameshwaram. There are numerous things that you can do in Rameshwaram.
As we were staying in a property quite near Ramar Teertham, we started our Rameshwaram yatra from there. Post visiting the pristine Ramar Theertham and after taking darshan in Ram Mandir exactly opposite to Ramar Teertham, we reached Hanuman Temple, which was just a walk away. In this temple, we were fortunate enough to see the RAM SETU floating stone, and there was a guide who helped us understand more about Rameshwaram. Lakshman teertham, which was hardly 2 minutes away from Ramar Teertham. There are 64 holy teerthams in the holy city of Rameswaram and all teerth kunds are one of them. After spending a good 2 hours in all these holy places, we then visited the ancient temple of Rameshwaram i.e Ramanathaswamy temple in Rameshwaram. This temple has the longest corridor and is one of the 12 jyotirlingas in INDIA.
Other than tourist places in Rameshwaram, we have very well managed to get darshan in Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy and various other temples in and around the historic temple.
