Actually it was the pilot and the incompetence of the officer combined that killed him. Rambo just threw a rock at the stabilizer .

I think each Rambo movie has something to offer the franchise, Rambo has had one hell of a story arc (franchise as a whole). That being said, one of the most heart felt moments in a Rambo movie, was when Rambo goes to visit the relative of one of his war buddies only to find out he is dead, so Rambo gives the relative a photo of him and the war buddy. I was never in the military but I can see that if you served with other soldiers, it is nice to reconnect with someone you knew from your past once you return to civilian life.

A classic and an amazing movie. I watched when I was 9 years old and watched dozens of times.

Brian Dennehy (the cop) was a Korean War vet. He had contempt for Rambo. Not shared in the movie but makes the story that much better. Love this movie!

Stunts were incredible in that movie. One of my favorites is when the pursuing cop car flies off the road and lands on a fence, you hear that sharp honking of the horn. Subtle sound effect where you don't see what happens, but still know. One of those small things that bring authenticity. Cracks me up every single time. I still wonder if it was accidental or intended, or done in post.

here's an idea James, have Board James in one of these reviews and review Jumanji when The Next Level comes out, or why not review Clue since Board James loves some good murder lol...

polsdofer I would guess that it was just for the plot of the show, so I don’t think they actually moved. He’s probably got a story that’s gonna fit into the “move” somehow in later episodes. There’s a reason for this anyway.

I am sure they make you feel that way with the cop that dies being an asshole. However, there are no goodguys in this film. This is not that type of film. That cop who died was wrong for being an asshole and trying to kill rambo before falling and dying. He is the only one who can be labeled "A badguy". But rambo was not right for his behavior. This is a movie about a vet from the brainwashed soldier 60's era that went nuts in a civilian surrounding. None of the other officers chasing him were "badguys", even the one in charge. And Rambo was definitely not a goodguy in this situation. Regardless of how good it feels to see a guy beat up on cops who were being dicks.

The Sheriff is definitely the bad guy. He shows his prejudice right from the start. "We don't want guys like you in this town" if he said that to a gentleman of another race, would he be a "good guy"? The main deputy is a bad guy, he took pleasure in torturing and shooting at an unarmed Rambo.

When Arnold made Conan the Barbarian, he actually fell down the steps in the cave at the beginning - it wasn't scripted. The side of his face is actually laid open in that scene. Him being new to the US & barely speaking english says "I'm bleeding..." to which Dino DeLaurentis responded "Yeah - just go with it." Arnold says again "but... but.... I'm BLEEDING." Dino says "Yeah, I know - it looks great!" =) They just don't make movies like that anymore... which is both good & bad.

Wonderful! My only criticism is that James didn't cuss worst than a sailor and Nathan didn't attempt to kill himself by getting his head stuck in a dumpster or something. You guys do great work together and I love the results.

For some reason, those 2 sentences said by that narrator combined with the Nerd's disgusted and sad face expression is one of the funniest things I have seen in my life. I love these funny old style commercials. They bring so much joy to my life.

The Punisher 2004 is one of my favorite movies because Thomas Jane did most of his own stunts, you can tell he put in the work. Makes a movie amazing.

Wow, this is by far my favorite rental review video. I want this guy in more!! Your guys responses with each other just seems so natural. Also would you ever consider doing a review on the godfather?

I saw this as 4 and half yr old when it was considered “new”(movies took a ridiculously long time to go from theatrical to video,I think part 2 was in theaters by that point.) As a child of that age I knew nothing about social politics or Vietnam or the fall out from war,I literally thought Teasle felt Rambo was too ugly to be in that town and got arrested for it. That shaped my view of cops til I was out of childhood. It’s amazing and sometimes preposterous the things we believe as kids. I just remembered something else,I thought the title was referencing the part where Rambo gets his arms cut up falling through the trees,I thought he was meant to be so tough that it was the first time anything made him bleed. Who was letting me watch this kind of stuff anyway?🤣 this was the days where kids could do whatever they wanted as long as it didn’t make your parents look bad. Or maybe that was just me,I come from pure ivory garbage which is probably clear

In the book the sheriff knew that Rambo was a Vietnam vet. The reason the sheriff gave Rambo a hard time was because the sheriff was a Korean War vet & felt that the Korean War meant nothing compared to the Vietnam war

its so subtle, but I found myself giggling more and more as the review went on. Pure genius!

Stallone did a bunch of the dangerous stuff you'd think the stuntman would have. You know when Rambo's on the cliff? When Rambo jumps off, it's a stuntman. When he's falling through the air, that's a stuntman. When he hits the fucking tree? That's Stallone! And he broke his ribs for his trouble.

Deathproof is relatively recent, awesome and real as fuck. The end chase scene with Zoe is one of the best chase scenes/stunt scenes ever.

@Cinemassacre Dude! I love how you put keith and nate in the same scene and still act like you're about to go all-in with a 7-2 card combo!

How come the cinemassacre video store (next to Caldor) floor is inclined, and not a single video cassette falls down? Are they held in place by tape or something?

I don’t know about this Keith Apicary guy... The guy without the glasses seems ok though
