    In 2006 I was sitting in a waiting room at UCSF medical center in SF. There was an elderly lady sitting in a wheel chair.Also a younger lady fairly tall with short hair sitting next to her. I brought my acoustic guitar along with me in it's case.The younger lady asked me if I knew who ramblin Jack Elliot was? I answered yes I did.She was surprised telling me that hardly anyone she asked knew.She and the elderly lady were relatives of Elliot. I believe she said Elliot was her cousin.
